I will give it a 3 in my opinion, the official specs listed is flexible, but having swung the racket a few times, it doesn't flex as much as I imagined. But it doesn't hurt my wrist that much during the tests. It maybe different from your perspective, as stiffness is subjective. Best if you can go down to the stores to have a feel of it. Stocks are running low though. We are sold out on the Caliber VS Tours ( Hayakawa edition ). Everything is in stores and I'm not sure when the stocks will be in. India is a huge market, but unfortunately she isn't managed by us. Maybe you can drop Mizuno Badminton Asia an email, see what they say. I'm not too sure what are the plans for India. my apologies.
The VS Tour ( hayakawa ) edition is out of stock. The Caliber REG ( okuhara ) edition is out of stock. Caliber VF Tour is out of stock. Restocking in 2 weeks. VS Tour ( hayakawa ) edition. Caliber REG normal yellow edition ( 3U ) new!
guys do you know mizuno distributor or seller in jakarta / indonesia ? because i like to try their badminton racquet. I try to look in jakarta but i cant find it. thanks.
any review of Dynalite 58 or Caliber Reg (Nozomi)? i mainly play double and one of my biggest weakness is poor overhead cleareance when can't move fast enough to take shuttle that fly high over me. my thinking is that racket with flex shaft and slightly head heavy might help. correct me if i'm wrong. thank you.
Work on footwork. Rackets will not improve that. Just my two cents. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hi, You may look for Hartono Sport, located at West Jakarta. Hartono Sport Jl. Petak Baru 16 (Pasar Pagi Lama) Jakarta Barat 11230 Ph. 021 6923001 - 021 6923422 BB. 7DE76675 LINE. hartonosport
I think vibgyor1111 replied on that. Footwork and positional awareness plays a more crucial role than the racket used. Just FYI. Dynalite 58, Flex 5U Caliber REG, Flex 3U Weight is different.
A review on Dynalite 58. I play doubles and my preferred role is 封网 (net sealer), covering mid to front court. I'm short and slight built: 168cm / 58kg Hi lodoss, like pizzaboi mentioned, footwork and positional awareness are more crucial. Also, hitting technique. This is the basic info on the racket. http://www.mizunobadminton-asia.com/dynalite My racket is Mizuno Dynalite 58. String: Yonex Aerosonic @24lbs Overgrip on top of the original grip. Total weight: 88grams I love this racket. Light, quick, and whippy. Easy to perform also all shots. (Net, Drop, Clear, Lift, Smash, Smash defense, Net kill, etc.) I have used Yonex Lin Dan Force and Duora 10 LCW. Both are good rackets. Which racket suits you depends on various factors. Your playing style Your physical attributes Your level of technique (Most important) When I use Lin Dan Force, I find I didn't enjoy the head heavy during fast rallies. By the way, the shaft is stiff, slight stiff. My badminton doubles partner loves it. He smashes very well from the back court. When I use Duora 10 LCW, it is a stiff shaft, balanced racket. Good to use overall in all areas of the court. But being 3U and stiff, I find that I became slower as the game progress after 2 hours on court. So, it is all very personal when it comes to your ideal racket. Personally, I look at the 3 basics of a racket: 1. Weight 2. Balance Point 3. Shaft Stiffness (Ultra Flex, Flex, Mid Flex, Stiff, Extra Stiff.) Hope this is useful. Thanks.
Recently I bought Mizuno SpeedFlex 7.1 and I'm excited to share my review here. You can find the seller here. Personally I like to play drive and smashing, that's why my previous racket is head heavy racket (Victor Artery Tec TI95 Control). You can find its spec at http://www.mizunobadminton-asia.com/speedflex. Previously using a 3U racket, I can feel the lightness of the new racket (84g) when warming up. Is not a bad thing at all as is not as light as other racket, lets say Nanoray 500 which is just too light for me. After few swings, I'm can comfortably to conclude that the racket did a very good job in absorbing the shock when hitting the shuttlecock. The swing feel so effortless especially when comes to overhead smash where it can be easily done. I guess the Tepered Shaft and Anti Twist Frame really doing its job well. On top of that, dropshot is top notch with this racket as you can disguise your dropshot easily as if you are performing a smash due to effortless swing. After few smashes, I can start to feel the cons of using even balance as the racket won't able to generate enough power swing for smashes as compared with head heavy racket. Is not bad at all as i still can generate some power smashes once I readjusted my swing accordingly. When comes to defend and lifting, it perform well though I still need more time to readjust my swing as I'm coming from a 3U head heavy racket. (some lifts were half court as the racket feel a bit light for me) Overall, is a very nice racket and its perfect for double player where you need to swing your racket at a very fast pace. However, if you are a hardcore smasher, look elsewhere. Though I might miss the head heavy racket when comes to smashing, but the gain in drive and drop plus the ease of swinging definitely makes my game more enjoyable than before!
@whitegoh, I am also shopping for a Speedflex as I use 5g Flashboost and Voltric. Coming from head heavy rackets, I use about 4 pieces of .25cm lead tape around the top and my balance points are over 305. It's definitely whippier with a better smash, but defensively a little slower.
I wont be able to know as I do not know their orders. It will be better if you give them a call directly and check with them.
Hi pizzaboi, so last week i went to this store and found that they didnt sell any mizuno rackets. Any other stores around jkt that carries mizuno rackets? One more question, if i usually use N90 1st gen and 3u victor meteor x80, which mizuno rackets would u recommend for me? Im looking for vf tour? Or maybe 3u va tour? Or other types? Because i would like to try mizuno product that i expect will perform as amazing as any other high-end brands because it is not cheap and Made in Japan. ☺☺☺☺
