A Sindhu vs Nozomi final would be great.

Only thing in Saina's favour today is Nozomi may crumble again like Rio mentally and self destruct. Else Nozomi is the girl with the most stamina in WS.

Sindhu/Yufei pretty unhelpful timing for Asian viewers. Will struggle to stay awake till 2.

Your answer to your own question is wrong. It should be either Saina or Sindhu.
Cos you said it could be 0 or 2 and if 1, you have to pick either one of the IND player.

in the article carolina admits to losing focus when down 14-15 in the 3rd game. why couldn't she recover since the game is only 2/3's of the way through. there was still plenty of time to get to 21. not a good sign for her mental toughness fans.

carolina has (only) two weapons relative to the top 5 ws:
    1. speed
    2. her forehand cross court slice from the baseline comes down fast and accurate (.... re-watch the 1st point in game 3.)
    her two major obstacles are:
    1. the other 4 of the top 5 are fast now, too, which means she can't retake control of a rally with her speed
    2. needs more tools (shots) so she can retake control of a rally
i never got the feeling she had any significant mental edge over her peers (the other 4). she's a great front runner, but not extraordinary when playing from behind. i can't regard closing a big gap, like in game 1, extraordinary unless you win it.

Marin did her best. The reason i support her she is the flag bearer of European countries.(other than Denmark ). That is so hard to understand for people? imo, she is a lone warrior.

Badminton has no breakthrough if the Asian Countries keep winning it.

I'm European, but the last thing I need is for the worst sportsperson in the entire sport to represent me in some way. Nationality should really never matter so much that it trumps character.

Marin is mentally the toughest in WS, which I've admitted many times, but she is not as strong as she appears to be. There have been occasions where she actually wavered, notably that fateful match with Intanon R where she lost a huge lead and the match.

Put it simply, Marin's mental strength is a bit more like bluster or bravado, nowhere compared with Lin Dan's whose supreme self-confidence is sort of deep and natural, born of inner belief.

Marin herself has admitted all those court behaviour and antics of hers are to intimidate the opponent as well as urge herself on.

He meant min 0 like both of them fall down and max 2 so we have an all India finale.
You asked who's in between that's NO and CYF, as they are the obstacles. Though I know what you meant

Yeah, especially when you sacrificed your sleep and the outcome didn't turn out the way you wanted.

Tonight, there's EPL and I have a badminton session tomorrow morning.

    Got to plan.
