To add on, which series is a clone series for Apacs? So that I know which to avoid when I go to the shop for testing.

I dont have tweet so i can't tell you anything about it. As for tantrum 200II, there are still some available online, but i believe you can find more of the blue color than the green one.

You mean APACS clone? I'm not aware of any or did you mean apacs racket that are similar/copy of other brands like yonex?

Well as far as i know, the so-called APACS clone are copies only cosmetically but never in terms of other aspects like materials or whatever technologies used. Apacs may have rackets that look like a zf2 for example, but it's not a zf2 in performance. So i dont't think there really are any apacs clone in the true sense of the word.

Yeah, most of these off brands usually only copy the aesthetics of other brands, it is nothing when compared to genuine Yonex or Victor rackets, in terms of performance.

    Hi Apacs Fan Club,

I want to buy an Apacs racket, primarily after getting positive comments about their durability.

To be honest, I have tried Finapi 232 only once belonging to one of my friend and found to be quite nice.

Primarily being a relatively new badminton player and Yonex user, it may not be possible for me to actually state all requirements.

But having used 4U Voltric 1 TR and 3U Duora 77, I can say that I am fine with 4U head heavy and 3U slight head heavy, with preferably 3U slight head heavy. A Medium Stiff to Medium shaft seems to suit me well.

I have found my speed to be somewhat slow with Duora 77 which doesn't have very aerodynamic frame.

Request all Apacs Fan to suggest something on these lines.
kindly try to keep cost as low as possible.

BTW I am in India with poor Apacs availability, so may be all options may not be available.
    Thanks in advance

Hi shiv , you can opt for Apacs Virtuoso Performance (AVP) , it's an excellent racket .... You can also search its review here in badminton central...
It may be not available here in india...
I had ordered AVP online from sports horizon at malaysia , It may cost you around inr 4500 .
You will love this Racket and kindly check its review also here in badminton central.

@Vivek@1983 thanks for your prompt reply. Based on my forum search and other details available, it seems to be head heavy, stiff and 3U racket. It may not be very suitable for me.

Further, I don't want to buy from outside India, difficult to deal in case of any problem.

Can you suggest some other alternative which is head heavy, weight category 4U and medium to medium stiff shaft with fast aerodynamic frame.

Additionally low price point will be appreciated. Actually in our club/ group there are few novice ladies who are eager to play all the shots and they will keep clashing the rackets. So I don't want to invest much on racket.

As I mentioned earlier finapi 232 felt nice but right now nothing of finapi range is available locally.

Other Finapi models are available. Can you please tell whether Apacs follows any numbering convention for its racket.

Is Finapi older series of Apacs. It is not listed on official site of Apacs.

@Parth Nayak, Can you suggest few models for my requirements viz.
    Fast frame
3U with even balance / 4U with slight head heavy
    Medium to medium stiff shaft

AVP is your top choice, if budget is an issue, Lethal 8,9,10 are alternatives with similar frame design like AVP (similar to Victor BS12).

AVP is 3u and slightly head heavy. The Tantrum 200ii would fit more into your criteria. Regardless, they are both good rackets and you can't go wrong with either.

Both Tantrum 200 II and Tweet 8k are stiff rackets, if you prefer flex and medium rackets, any Apacs below RM150 should be a good pick. The price of T200II has gone up 15%-20% since last year due to huge oversea demand, may be we drummed it too much here. I regretted selling both my T200II to a kid who desperately need an upgrade to his broken Lethal 6 in upcoming tournaments. Next time when I find any good Apacs racket, I will not share out in public. Yes, I got some new Apacs to have fun with.

This bloody 8U racket doesn't even have a factory grip on it.

You sure that's a badminton racket or an APACS branded fly swatter?

I will let you know after i try it out, no grip but a layer of plastic coating sprayed over the wooden handle, weight balance is >320mm, without string.

Try Foray 707 or 700 power (5U category with a blade frame but 4U as per actual measure). Or try Lethal 10 (Bravesword 12 Clone)

    Thank you
