Already answered on March 27 in this thread. Beat the other players in your junior county restricted which will be held around August or early September.
The County restricted tournament IS the tryout. It would be a bit rubbish to call the highest internal county tournament a "tryout". I mean, wouldn't it suck if you won the highest county tournament for Middlesex, i.e. you were effectively the best badminton player in Middlesex, and your title was, "Middlesex Tryouts Winner 2019". Anyway this is why @Cheung and I have recommended entering so hard.
Guys let’s stop wasting our time here. I don’t even think this guy plays badminton, afterall the person in his avatar isn’t even badminton related...
Thats the legandary LIN DAN - if u dont think i play badminton thats fine but dont stop others from helping me as thats very cruel thing to do plz stop trolling and be constructive not destructive to others
i mean i need the details of the exact date time etc where can i find that plz - sombofy already told me the venue (thx bro))
That's just being lazy. Go find it on the county website - the Middlesex website is actually a decent one too. So easy to google 'Middlesex Badminton'...
These are all the contact details for Middlesex County BA. http://www.middlesexbadminton.co.uk/ As many have said entering the restricted is a good way to make contact with the local association. If you enter and perform well you will be noticed by the committee. County teams are usually selected on restricted results, previous county performances if you have played previously etc. Some can be a little cliquey, not sure if Middlesex is like that, hopefully not. Restricted to players of that county. If you win it, you are the effectively the best player in that county.
Id just like to thank EVERYBODY ON THIS CHAT for helping this lost teenager and telling me how to progress - i sincerley thank all of u for giving me ur precious time to help
get a coach (or better coach). he should've been able to tell u all this info instead of asking strangers on the internet.
Depends how established the coach is in the country. The coach might either not be a competition level coach or could be someone who has come to UK from overseas.
2 years later after reading this thread I cringe sooo badly, was this what I was like??? - how things have changed. I have actually matured and the lockdown has made my dreams a lot more realistic and I am probs gonna study Economics at university
LOL - if only lockdown would permit me to make it I really do miss badminton - hopefully I will be able to get back on court soon I will probs be at uni when I will be able to get back on court
