WJC, the livestreams today are individual courts only, not camera switching choices for all the courts. Disappointed.
Woh, another upset ( to me), Cheam Jun Wei fell to unknown IND Bharadwaj who yesterday booted out Ren Pengbo. Who is this 19-year-old Bharadwaj, born 4/18/2000, a possible new IND sensation out of nowhere? Better than Lakshya Sen ?
I get what you're trying to say but I'll be cautious to label him a new Indian sensation. He needs to improve and get results such that this type of reslut is not a flash in the pan. Better than Lakshya Sen, I don't think so. Prakash Padukone labelled Lakshya Sen, Rahul Bharadwaj, Meiraba Luwang and Kartikey Gulshan as next generation players. But after the injury, Rahul has not yet reached his previous level. But watching the two matches of his gives me happiness.
can indah cahya sari jamil (the next liliyana natsir) win wjc xd title and putri kusuma wardani (indonesian marin) win wjc ws title? i hope so
A string of upsets emerged in MS department preliminary round where qualifier, defending champ Sourbah Verma lost to German player Kai Schaefer followed by Rasmus Gemke who retired against Brazilian inspiring player Ygor Coelho, local fave Mark Caljouw, 5th seed Thomas Rouxel, 8th seed Lucas Corvee as well also found early exit here. One of women's singles frontrunners, Scottish ace Kirsty Gilomour bites the dust, surprised by French qualifier Marie Batomene while top-seed Danish second-ranked Line Kajersfeldt will meet Chinese challenger, Li Yun, semifinalist of INA Masters last week.
Not sure whether the Korean team brought out their A team. I think they have been known to withhold their top players from AJC / WJC in the past. Good example is An Se Young, who would still have been eligible this year.
Yes, she is eligible this year. But, she already starts out in senior stage. As a result, she is way far ahead of the rest of the juniors.
Both Liu Liang and Ramlie Yonathan are so tense in the crucial stage of G3, taking turns to make unforced errors. In the end, at deuce, it was LL who smashed wide twice to hand the match to Ramlie.
Tan Ning had her chances, 17-14 in G3, against Gunji Riko who beat Zhou Meng in the mixed team, but failed to take it, losing it 21-19.
Thanks, but the Ct3 livestream is acting strangely, switching to another match by itself. Now it switches back to the correct match again.
