Badminton is big in Indonesia, safe to say its not as big for China.

My friend in China told me with photo 3 of 4 biggest search in Baidu last night is about how Su Bingtian finished 6th in 100m sprint.
and how he broke the AsiaRecord in the heat with 9.83s, nothing about ChenYufei or ChenLong.

Its for the same, like how Running is can inspire all the chinese kids to how badminton is for Indonesia kids.

Forehand serve in Doubles is very rare. I saw only Jwala doing it. And with that serve, she won 2011 WC bronze medal. I was hearing Gill commentary that time and she said WR2 TPE WD pair one of the two players lost her confidence in backhand serve, so she switched to forehand serve.

No wonder, Jia Yifan was seen translating some of the instructions to Chen Qingchen during the intervals.

On another note, Chen Qingchen looks very modern and younger than what she appears to be 2 years ago, before the pandemic strucks!

After the high from the Gold Medal won, Team INA hopes to win another one in the Men's Singles Bronze Medal Playoff tonight. Unfortunately, I cannot watch that match.

Anthony Sinisuka Ginting is expected to beat Kevin Cordon to take home the Bronze, but he cannot under-estimate the Guatemalan, who has caused several upsets last week!

In the Final match, it will be a tough tussle between Viktor Axelsen and Chen Long. Chen Long may just retain his Gold Medal if he plays like yesterday. My money is on him!

Imagine if hawkeye existed when LCW hit out at All Englands final vs Tago, history could've been changed.

    THE UNSEEDED DUO PREVAIL
A big upset occurs of all five categories occurs today, Greysia Polii who experienced tragic event early this year finally redeems her sad day into glorious with Apriani Rahayu. The Indonesians stun hot favourites Chen/Jia to apply exact formula, slow down the pace with constant long rallies and solid defense that causing uncomfortable for the Chinese to unleash their attacking mode and producing string of unforced errors. The overconfident Chen/Jia find hardest obstacle and quite frustrated in second game when they can't recovered and bounce back to fine rhythm. INA WD plus coach Eng Hian have create giant leap breakthrough, never won any medal in seven previous OG edition, today they grab dream gold medal! Earlier semifinal, Kim/Kong play smarter strategy, better rotation to outwits Lee/Shin, the only medal for KOR badminton squad here is reminiscent Rio 2016 result. A disappointment for Shin Seung Chan, can't repeat her triumphant five years ago with Jung Kyung Eun.

Guys, it has been an awesome ride so far with the community. Enjoyed reading your comments even though I disagree with some of you but this is part of it. I'd rather have this than have nothing at all for so long.

I hope we can have more tourneys going forward.

Let's enjoy the last two matches. I hope the players will give us one hell of a show.

I actually thought badminton is very popular in China. Does badminton come in top 5 sports in China?

Everyone has a plan 'till they meet Lee/Wang.
