Apparently, its Guo Zhendong/Xie Zhongbo who are in the QF So, not Guo is not injured....maybe Fu or Cai is injured Remember, Cai Yun did mention that he was not feeling so well last week Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun are such a friend man.....whenever Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong lose early, they will stick through with them! What a friend indeed!
This makes a bit more sense... But actually this may not be a wise move. Xie/Guo is facing Lee/Jung tomorrow, they are really the underdog. Why not let CY/FHF demolish Lee/Jung's confidence? One possible reason is the CY may have some injury (real ones!). CY/FHF indeed played lousy yesterday, and CY had this big knee-support on (not just tapes! ).
Back to serious stuffs, with the remaining pairs in the draw, I hope Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan can lift the title...their first title in Europe this will be if they can triumph on Sunday.

for sure it does suck, im actually surpised about the score to be honest. more so the score in the 2nd game, where she lost 6-21.
I believe our many MAS fans will wake up from their sleep overjoyed later on Suddenly, they won't feel so bad anymore about Koo/Tan's defeat
MK/HS indeed should have the biggest chance. Interestingly, they seem to perform better as the tournament proceeds. So if anyone wants to eliminate them, better try this in the 1st round. CY/FHF and KKK/TBH did the right thing this time.
Who is the guy practising on Court 2 now? Anyone knows? I am getting a free online badminton lesson I think. Ah-Oh! They stopped the streaming! @?#!
As the Chinese saying goes...."as the going gets tougher, u perform better" Last week's AE was a super duper fluke A fatal one too...which led to Jung/Lee winning the prestigous title What do u mean by doing the right thing this time ?? By losing in the second round????
I would not say it's a "fluke"... My impression is that MK/HS most of the times are pretty vulnerable in early rounds. But after the first two rounds, they become stronger and stronger, sometimes to the extent of formidable in SF and F. Yes I mean it's wise for them to not face MK/HS this time. It seems to me from watching KKK/TBH vs. Zakry/Fairuz and CY/FHF vs. Canadian that KKK/TBH still has some problem and CY/FHF is not in good form. Especially CY/FHF, they would get demolished if they face MK/HS.
Ic...now I got your points Quite true though your observation Looking at the results this year, their results in R32 are so-so only, being pushed to rubber-sets in two occassions this year, and losing once in straight sets. They also lost in R16 to Paaske/Rasmussen in Korea (that one quite expected though, given the chilly condition). For last year, they were pushed to rubber-sets 7 times in the first 2 rounds. I am simply astounded by Koo/Tan's recent results....now even any ordinary pair can beat them....only Kido/Hendra have yet to beat them
To answer kwun's conspiracy theory question: Knowing that Cai Yun is not feeling well, being such a good friend, Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong decide to lose early to accompany their good friends on a ski-ing trip down Swiss Alps PS: don't take this one seriously okay....meant as a joke only
