2010 Copenhagen Masters (27-29 December) Day 1 . This was the 'Match of the Day' for Day 1; A 62 minutes match, with BP scoring just 3 points more than WCH. .
Uncle Wong did well, going all the way against Boonsak Ponsana, a very experienced player. Liew Daren obviously still struggling since his demoralising defeat in the AG, lack of confidence, against Hafiz also lost tamely.
LDR even if he wins, should be out unless PG loses to DP and the points go his way. Uncle Wong still have a slim chance.
http://tv2sport.dk/node/70095 The last few rallies of Peter Gade vs Liew Daren. I'm surprised, Liew Daren isn't half bad but I noticed he keeps looking at the floor and shaking his head, that's not very positive body language. He has a good smash too, but footwork abit... awkward.
There's 2 sessions for today's schedule (13.00 and 19.00 local time) -- http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...01C2E3-F535-47C9-A59D-921E7D3B819E&d=20101228
When I saw him play the last time on TV with Dionysius Rumbaka, yes LD has the habit of looking down as though he is cursing himself..the 'lack of confidence' look..then a string of unforced errors ensued later..Looking very worried and having urgency in he game are two different things..Well...it could boil down to the lack of mental strength.
Yup, from what I see Liew Daren didn't seem to be a player who lacked skills, but he kept looking down on the floor, which is very worrying body language. I think his problem is his lack of confidence and self-belief in himself.
From what i heard he is suffering some kind of leg injury..thats why i think he keep looking down at the floor
At least he's got his looks going for him as #1 LCW replacement ... He does look like he modelled his style after him in any case.
Looks like his pain has moved from his foot to his hand/finger today ... lot's of unforced errors on his part. After lots of diving now grabbing his foot again. Looks like he slipped reaching for a netshot ...
