I agree with you Frank and after i purchased my initial videos i learnt a great deal from the grip video especially. I would love to see a dvd released as i do have problems watching the streams for whatever technical reasons. i would also suggest to the administrator of the site to allow the free downloading of complete clips rather than just snippets. this would give a better indication of the depth of the video and coaching advice that is within each video. The 2 minute free downloads are simply not enough to appreciate what the site or each video has to offer. i wish the guys at IBBS all the best and hope that some of the technical problems get ironed out pretty soon.
I think Lee has a video (VHS) called "playing to win". I haven't seen the actual video but have seen it advertised (not on ibbs site) when i did a google search for it sometime ago.
Ibbs Dvd info@ibbs.tv ljbiba@hanmail.net I have been trying to reach someone at this email address without any success. It is completely disappointing! I have made a purchase of the full set DVD- 'Roots of Badminton' and have not received anything. Can i at least get some response to prove that this website is not a scam?? $$$ :crying:
I Purchased a pair of shoes from them at the WC 2003, and paid at the Venue, with the promise of them sending me a pair. Even after several attempts at retrieving them (with the new and old website) I failed, and have given up as a loss.
Wow. This DVD set was an item on this forum a few months ago but I don't remember seeing a post from anyone who had bought or received it. How long have you been waiting for the DVD set? No response from the email addresses? Have you tried a Private Message to Lee Jae Bok at his ID on this forum? You wouldn't expect that to be more effective and he isn't necessarily the go-to man for day-to-day affairs at IBBS but he is quite respected on this forum and I'm sure he wouldn't want his reputation jeopardized by serious complaints about his operation from members of this forum.
I am sure Mr Lee Jae Bok is a very respectful person in this sport. With no offense, I would like to express my view (as a customer). I feel like I am being ignored cause I had a similar situation as LindDan had. I sent 3 emails but none of them was replied. Setting up a business is easy, keeping customer is very hard. If customers feel being ignored, I think the business will become shaky. Successful businesses do care about their customers!
The DVDs do exist, and people do appear to get them eventually. When they were first released, service was a bit quicker, but since LJB has gone to work for BadmintonEngland there does appear to be quite some disruption at IBBS
Ibbs Dvd Finally got my DVD last nite so its for real not scam. Can't wait anymore immediately play the power smash clip and it was fantastic. Tink if finish watching the whole set my skill level definitely gonna shoot up further Recommend all serious player it is a must have collection.
Didn't receive my dvd and been weeks Those out there how long before you received it? Does it come straight to your house or do u have to go post office.. As i've sent many emails to the email on the site and lee jae bok's ppl haven't said a word... i'm getting worried. When is the last time somebody received his dvd?? :crying: :crying:
I got my own DVD set for awhile. That's just after LJB took over as England's national coach. He's really prompt with after-sale correspondance. Give him some time to respond, I trust that he's been extra busy training the national squad.
I just ordered a dvd set from IBBS. My paypal was not working properly so I used the email to contact IBBS. I had a quick reply confirming my purchase. Can't wait to receive the dvd ....
Hope you get yours soon. I had to email him after I put in the order and waited almost a month. The reason for the delay was due to changed design cover for the DVD set. Upon replying my email, LJB air-mailed the DVD set to my home (it arrived within a week after my email). I suspect that the demand for the DVD set far outweighs the supply available, and deservedly so. Badminton Forum gave ibbs.tv quite alot of exposure with its significant net presence. I won't be surprised if they missed a few orders in a rush to fill backorders. I advise you to keep the email confirmation from your purchase and attach it to your message when you inquire about its status. BTW, LJB also answers any questions and take feedback from his hanmail.net. So if you didn't get any response, don't give up. Email again in a few days' time.
I just rec'd mine and it took about 1 1/2 weeks to get to Australia by post... No problems at all for me. Hopefully you get yours.
What's going on with ibbs.tv? Is the website gone? I had 8 Pounds in my deposits there and now it's gone?!?
vanished Yep, looks like the site has gone the way of the do-do sadly. It was very good, luckily I had used up all my credit a while ago, but thought i would check it out again. You could try emailing Badminton England, as Lee currently coaches the team.
Site is online again!!! I talked with Lee... There will be no new Videos for the next time, because since he is national coach he has no time to do new videos...
