There are (5) so many byes in women's draw. And only 3 byes in Men's draw with JPN as the #3 didn't get a bye and has to face MAS in R1.
China gold medal confirmed atleast in mens team imo.....they will arrive fresh to the final and crush whosoever it is in front of them.
I don't think DL can beat KM, but it might be possible. Anyway, I'm hoping for Goh/Tan, Ong/Teo and LZJ/LJH to up their game and give points. Their MD not that unbeatable.
But Darren Liew is now fully fit .He will take revenge for his loss against KM in the world championship.
So is Momota -- he will playing conservatively because he sustained a training injury (I think also a twisted ankle or something) before WC2018... hopefully, we will see the kind of form that Momota had to bring against LCW... So injured Momota is WC2018 Champion; while injured Darren Liew is WC2018 Bronze medallist -- feels like a slap to WC2018 medallist Shi Yuqi, & still doesn't bode well for Bronze medallist Daren Liew.
It was an abdominal muscle injury sustained in a training session at Nanjing just before the tournament started. Hence the marked absence of smashes in the WC.
