I have checked in the information of your Yonex ARMORTEC 700 4420081 190634SP (date=19 Jun 2003) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its serial no. and date code are legitimate.
However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

    Hi

Got an Armortec 800 Defensive. Mum and Dad live in China and got it from a Yonex franchise within a large shopping mall but want to double check the authenticity of the racket.

    As follows:

    AT800DE 5417032 030354CH

Also, bought a Muscle Power 44 from a non Yonex shop in the North East of England but I have been told that a lot of the fake rackets on sale in the UK are coming out of Newcastle - I can't vouch for this but if you could check this number too:

    MP44 5335134 200153UK

    Appreciate it.

The shaft serial no. of 080517 is 1 digit short and the cone date code of 0107228SP is 1 digit too many, IMHO the at-800 off is a fake.

I have checked in the information of your Yonex MP30 7084054 030243SP (date=03 Feb 2004) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Taiwan, its serial no. and date code are legitimate.
On this racket, there should have the phrase "Developed by Yonex Japan" on the shaft and "Made in Taiwan" on the green cap buut end of the handle.

    It's me again,

Sorry to bother you, Leehsim, but can you plz check if the serials numbers (if they're good ones) come from what kind of racquet made by Yonex. I'm really sure I come up with an fake one (since it's a Armortex 800 OF, but the date code is in August 2002)

Yes, your fear that your Armortex 800 OF of 3902276 050828SP may be a fake is confirmed. The serial no of 3902276 and date code of 050828SP is no legitimate. Also the Armortex 800 OF was not launched in Aug 2002.
