Momota looks more tired Gill said. Does this bode well for the future i wonder. This is just the 1st tournament and he only played 1 rubber match.

I mean Ginting has given it all. 5 rubber matches, Runner up ok.

Lol what a way to lose the last point Ginting. Geesh.

What a match. Well played by both.

Will Momota and Ginting also have to wave tiny Chinese flags?

once again the most boring retrieval badminton has prevailed, but ASG was very close this time, just a bit of more patience and then outcome could have been different, for me ASG was much much better player in this match

Honestly without the timeout medical, it will have been further.

Such a tame point to finish , just like against CL yesterday.

And that's the most important thing. Ginting will probably mention that in his memoir as well. "I was the star of Martynas' heart. The end."

Two best players, imo. One is super consistent and the other is super inconsistent.

Well-deserved for Momota: he was not in the same physical shape as in the World Championship, but he absorbed everything that Chen Long and Ginting threw at him. Great mental strength when things were looking bleak: perfect training for Tokyo 2020.
