That means Im just lucky to be seeing the QF of my home tournament on Big Screen for the first time lol...Besides who doesnt love watching matches on Big screen ;)

Regardless of this my excitement and enthusiasm for BWF finally LIVE STREAMING R32 and R16 for S500 and S300 is unmatched...Its almost like I got a long lasting wish that seemed to never fulfill got fulfilled suddenly.

And As you mentioned about GER Open S300, which I guess is in March just before AE, BWF should do the same LIVE STREAMING without block.

You see the world is evolving and so is sports and Badminton can never becomr a global sport unless the BWF which is the governing body ensures that its telecasted across the globe and they do have a YouTube channel so its not just for few minute videos, it should be the hub for global badminton fans to come together and enjoy our beloved sport played LIVE from Day 1 of all the World Tour events..be it S100 or S1000.

Im not saying all the courts but at least 2 courts should be covered so we fans get the feeling that Yes a tournament is started and we can see the performances of the players day by day till TV Rounds.

Its high time and Im sure BWF has learnt it and they will be doing the same for all the future World Tour Events:)

Does anyone know If BWF has sold broadcoast rights to DD SPORTS ?

I thought it would be Sony or Star...But then I dont give a damn as long as I get to watch LIVE STREAM on BWF Youtube Channel ;)

the tournament host owns the domestic tv rights, not bwf, because bwf does not own the tournament.

In the rubber between MM and SS feel Russian is gona be in the SF though Manjunath gave his all in the second set but I believe he gave way too much that it seems he has lost a lot of energy to be able to compensate for the victory in the third set.

Lets see if Manjunath can pull this off to enter the SF of Syed Modi Intl 2022

Yup, looks like Sergey's stamina let him down at the end of 3rd set. He was leading quite comfortably.

See the scoreline between 16 year old Anupama and 18 year old Samiya. Anupama won the first set 24-22.

India has lots of good prospects, especially in WS category. Hope they will progress into TOP 20 in the near future.

16 year old Anupama wins the match 24-22, 23-21. Samiya had good leads in both sets but couldn't maintain it. Congrats to her for making it to semis! She might even make it to finals.

You're right. Maybe a little too optimistic. But on the other hand, when pandemic takes 2 years out of an athlete's life, you have to set ambitious goals.
From what I see in WS you have a few girls (PVS effect?) who can raise each other's level (European countries unfortunately can only dream of such a luxury).
A good training system in the country will be key.

I think it's Saina + PVS effect. Saina Nehwal has inspired many people to take up badminton.
