I don't think you should take country codes as confirmation of whether a racquet is fake or genuine. I suspect that all country codes will be falsified in the near future.
most of the fake racquets are SP code, and some other south asian countries, because most fake racquets are made/sold in such countries
Serail number Hi jeff Can you check my number Yonex Armortec 800 OF 4918771 on the shaft 120542TH on the cone thanks
racket Hi I have bought an isometric swing power 900 long. It's an old racket and the serial number is not like the racket of today. The seller told me that he bought this racket in France but I would like to be sure. So I only have one serial number on the cone FR16049, there is no srial number on the shaft. Is it because it is an old racket?? And this serial number is not engraved with laser I think. PLease answer me. Thanks Chirigamii
I have checked in the information of your Yonex Nanospeed 8000 1) 5449967 180352TH 3u/g5 (date=18 Mar 2005) 2) 5449975 180352TH 3u/g5 (date=18 Mar 2005) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, their serial nos. and date codes are legitimate. However you still need to examine the other physical features of the rackets carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain their total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.
For the date code of 061153SP (dtae=6 Nov 2005), the valid serial no. should be exceeding 5798000. For the serial no. of 5342612, the valid date code should be between 21 Jan and 26 Jan 2005. IMHO, the NS8000 5342612-061153SP is a fake.
For all Yonex rackets produced before year 2000, the above is true for the serial no. system. One thing for sure is this isometric swing power 900 long was distributed for sale in France; hence the country code of FR. My guess on the production date from the date code of FR16049 would be 16 Apr 1999.
Yonex Serial Number Hi, Please check my Yonex serial number: Armortec 800 (Def) 5134978 - 010943TH Thank you Bernhard
You are another ebay victim because the racket is fake. The serial numbers are too small for a end of 05 racket.
You could try to make a complaint with Ebay, they will then investigate the seller and could possibly give you a refund. But I think it's going to be difficult. You should also try contacting the seller again and say that you think that the racquets are fake and you want a refund otherwise you'll leave negative feedback. Again, I wouldn't get my hopes up ...
