if you are not seeing any other numbers on your 'rackets' shaft, then if you ask me on a scale from 1-10, how much do I think this racket is a fake & my answer would be '11'.....

    What do you mean ???
The 'stringing' pattern is in concurrence with the one recommended by Yonex for the NS series...

I have checked in the information of the Yonex NS8000 Shaft Code: 5844465 Date Code: 011252US (date=01 Dec 2005) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its serial no. and date code are legitimate.
However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

hmm , is it a wise idea to post the spreadsheet into the forum , so that people can check themselves? or u fear the counterfeiters will use the serials to make fake rackets?
    hmm ...
    what do you think ?

From whom did you buy it from ???
If you were looking for cheaper rackets in ebay, then the chances are they fakes.
Post your serial number & date code, so that experts here in BC will determine if its a fake or not....

    Muscle Power 28

I just bought a Yonex Muscle Power 28 , and I'd like to ask if it's possible to have the serial number verified:

    Shaft : 7759133
Cone : 070354SP, and at the bottom: Made in Taiwan.
On the shaft : Developed By Yonex Japan
It also has got a Golden sticker which says SUNRISE with a number C1723673 attached on the cone.

    thank you.

    Thank you.
I got it from some one called SUMAI03, he is selling a lot of rackets and seem to be doing it since 2000. also has good reviews from eveyone who baught a racquet from him, though it could be a scam...

I wil post the serial once I get the racket
