was wondering on getting a new head-heavy racket...any recommendations? ti10? at800OF? at700? woven11?
If you have the right technique, enough strength, and purely focus on the smashing power, I guess 2U Ti10 and 2U MP100 are the ones to go within Yonex line.
AT700 3U is great at smashing. Never smashed so hard before, but everything else in my game got worse
no Sotx wovens? I'm shocked to see that the daddy of hard-hitters hasn't dropped by...Where's good 'ol Dink?
I thought for players that are more realistically towards the lower side of "intermediate", and want smashing power, are generally happy with the Forza Asia Amour 20000, the Forza Asia Amour 30000 and Forza Asia Amour 40000. If you don't string your own racquets / get your own racquets strung, I thought the factory string was surprisingly good on them also. (Looses tension a little quickly, however.) If you do get your racquets strung yourself, you don't have to worry about that aspect.
you guys are all wrong. take a look at the yonex racket chart. the ns 9000 x is the top racket for smashing.
I must say its the AT800 Offensive. Work very well for me smashing from the back in doubles. My good ol' Carbonex 21 and 25 gave me lotsa good smashes last time, before they broke that is.
Woven 7...................absolutly. I bought a woven 6 over it though.........better feel and placement/manuvability. a little less power. Second........Epsilon- boro-profile..........I think this is the stiifest racket in the world......never used anything stiffer......there is almost no flex. and very heavy!
Rackets that I've tried: NS9000x AT800OF NS9000s Woven 12LE Babolat Nitro(oddly enough) I'd say though the string is more important than the racket, I've strung all these rackets with BG75ti @ 24lbs, repulsion is phenomenal but control/grip is definitely lacking.
