It's definitely a fake, the serial number is too low.

As you can see the manufactured date is covered by SUNRISE sticker only SP can be seen and the serial number at the shaft is 5333815. Can somebody tell?

Unfortunatley unless the date code is given it cannot be verified.

    Please check my Serial numbers..

Hi, I bought my MP-66 from "www.asby.com" (ASBY sports).

Serial number on shaft is 5904518
    and on Cone is 130163US.

It does not have the original Yonex logo on the string and I am aware that they could have just got the frame and strung.

    Thanks in advance,
    P

Warantee label covering code of manufacturing

 I strong agreed with this. Since there is so many adulterated Yonex rackets in the market, Sunrise as Yonex original distributer, should not cover the manufacturing code so that buyer can at least verify them. I just received my new Yonex NS8000, the code at the cone is also covered.

I have checked in the information of your Yonex MP-66 shaft Serial Code:5904518; cone Date Code: 130163US (date=13 Jan 2006) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its serial no. and date code are legitimate.
However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

Fake, serial number is 5 digits, when it should be 7. Also the picture is a dead give away because the racket does not look like that.

Unfortunately it does not because the racket picture because of the following:

    - 5 digit serial
    - Does not appear to be laser engraved
    - Yonex does not write text like that
    - The O in Yonex is too round, it should have rounded corners more like 0.
