    For the date code of 250768JP (Date=25 Jul 2006), the serial no. on the shaft should have gone beyond 6313000.
    For the serial no. of 5333372 the valid date code shoudl be around 21 Jan 2005.
    For this reason, the Yonex MP100 is a fake without any doubt.

    I have checked in the information of your Yonex
    1)MP 99 Shaft serial:5512720; Cone Date Code:230452IP (date=23 Apr 2005);
    2)NS 9000 TYPE X Shaft erial:5931134; Cone Date Code:260162SP (date=26 Jan 2006)
    to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its serial nos. and date codes are legitimate.

    However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

    I am not certain about its validity, I suggest you take photographs and post them for other BFers to comment.

    It's real anyways since you got it from Sport Check. Honestly, you could of shopped at better places to get a better price because Sport Check charges like MSRP or higher.
