Nope. It's not that. It's just that LD has another gear that he can shift up too. He rarely shifts to this gear but you just saw it here against LCW.

LD shifted to this gear against Hu Yun too when he came back from 13-20 to win 22-20.

First time I see LCW refuse to change shuttle. Amazing. LD owning him mentally too hehe.

"Fanatical", "conspiratorial", "paranoid": these are all more appropriate words than "vocal". There's a game of badminton being played, not a political strategy board game.

LCW stopped attacking at the end of the first game but LD didn't stop. Great to see LD playing his attacking style more.

 

LD net play has gone down bad. Lucky his overheads are still the best.
