Great battle between LCW and TH, another instance where I wouldn't mind if LCW had won or lost. Played in the best spirit of sportsmanships. A great rivalry that I hope will be continued to balance the strength and depth of the CHN MS squad.

But I wish there weren't that many questionable line calls. This is the match that should have graced the WC Final last month.

Xie Xingfang played almost as bad as in WC (when she lost to WMC) in the 1st game of the final, only woke up at the later stages. And in the 2nd game, she couldn't pull away, and Tine capitalized on it.

Must say I am very impressed with Tine, she has changed her tactics, exploiting her height advantage. A lot of her winners are similar to the current CHN WS tactics. I suppose coaching with Morten Frost had a bearing to that.

Lee Chong Wei will do worse if he's rank #1 as he's not very good in handling pressure. I rather him stay within top 4 and play pressure free badminton. Also not being #1 will lower our expectation so we don't get mad at him if he fail :D Idea case is #4, once he live up to his ranking expectation then it really doesn't matter who he meet in SF or Final, he can win if he play his game as proven in this tournament.

To be honest, becoming #1 matters.

Even the die hard like me is hard to generate interest to watch WD. That's the problem with Team China, always "walk-over" the wrong match :D
