it might be if according to the paper ranking, but in reality everyone knows which team is the real number one...
So, you are saying CL is unlucky to be chosen over LY, GWJ, WK & DPY, aren't you? So is WYH? They should be considering themselves lucky to be part of the team despite not playing considering the limited entries chosen from a pool of talented players.
South Korea Sudirman squad Jung Jae Sung and Park Sung Hwan are back to join Korea Sudirman team, here's the squad : 1) Park Sung Hwan 2) Jang Young Soo 3) Jung Jae Sung 4) Lee Young Dae 5) Hwang Ji Man 6) Han Sang Hoon 7) Yoo Yeon Seong 8) Hwang Hye Youn 9) Kim Moon Hi 10) Lee Hyo Jung 11) Lee Kyung Won 12) Ha Jung Eun 13) Kim Min Jung source : KOMPAS (April 14, 2009)
Korea sends the youngster Kim Moon Hi in WS?? Where is Bae Youn Joo? I think Bae plays better than Kim. And, where is Hong Ji Hoon?? Has he been replaced by Jang Young Soo who performed quite well in ABC?
Yeah, so surprise they choose Kim Moon Hi not BYJ. Also former World Junior Champ HJH is out of the list (under-par performance in BAC?!). Looks like the weakest link of Korean team is WS.
It's ok. They can give WS away and still win.In SC ,just win 3 events and the team wins,so KOR has a decent chance.
What about them??.. ..seeding or the squad members??..if squad members, post #14 has the list..And sorry, despite popular demands from BCers to include the Wild Child of Badminton and other veterans in the squad, PBSI is setting its realistic sight and sending their younger players..
Kim is two years older than Bae. Bae is the youngster. She has played well against some top players (Jiang in All England and Zhu Lin last week) but the only top players she's ever beaten are the two from Thailand . Kim has beaten Wang Yihan twice, if not recently. Hong Ji Hoon lost both his matches at the Thomas Cup last year and hasn't had any big upsets aside from Wong Choong Hann. Jang is the most experienced player on the national team.
Yes, yes. You're both correct. I misread the result of their first ever meeting, in the 2005 AJC. That was Wang's first of 5 wins over Kim, who won only that one match in 2007.
