2009 Swiss Open Quarter-Finals Day: Lee Chong Wei vs Taufik Hidayat

    .
Well ... It's another 'Black Friday' today, Friday 13-Mar-2009.
But for the 2009 Swiss Open, it's Quarter-Finals Day.

For match results as they are progressing live: click here
For current time in Switzerland: click here

The first QF match will start at 12:00noon:
Michal LOGOSZ [7][IMG][POL] Robert MATEUSIAK[IMG][POL] -vs-
[IMG][MAS] Kien Keat KOO [2] [IMG][MAS] Boon Heong TAN
MAS fans would be all out here supporting KKK/TBH for sure. :):):)
Prediction: KKK/TBH to make it into the Semi-Finals.

For me, the 'Match of the Day' is at 8:10pm:
Chong Wei LEE [1][IMG][MAS] - vs- [IMG][INA] Taufik HIDAYAT [7]
Prediction: TH will win this one.

LD is having a walk in the park until final where he will either face LCW or TH. I think CJ back injury will strike again in semi even before finish 1st game.

Now cream is remaining, so we could expect some really fine games.

LCW will play without Misbun...it will be hard for LCW to beat TH this time. I predited TH will bounce and to beat LCW in three games.

If LCW lost in QF, then most probably LYB will tell LD to get 'injured'...:D:D

Zhoi Mi vs Wang Yihan, should b a great game to watch! I wonder if Zhou Mi can avenge her defeat in AE. Hopefully, go Zhou Mi!

About Taufik and LCW, i hope that the latter can win...although it seems like taufik is the favorite this time around. well, may the best win it  I love both players!

Three INA representatives at last eight :

    MS -- TH >< LCW
WD -- Shendy Puspita/Meiliana Jauhari >< Lee Hyo Jung/Lee Kyung Won
    XD -- Nova/Liliyana >< Zheng Bo/Ma Jin

Slim chance for Mel/Shendy to overcome Korean number one WD. Hopefully better result than last week AE!

2009 Swiss Open Quarter-Finals Day: Lee Chong Wei vs Taufik Hidayat

    .
IMHO... Out of the 3 INA, Taufik has the best chance to make it into the Semi-Finals.

Sorry if I may sound like some small town hick, but I want to see a train wreck. I want to see ZB implode again (though unlikely) and hand the match to Nova/Butet. I really hope Nova is on his game. Butet should try to intimidate Ma Jin from the get go and make her play loose net shots.
