Hopefully today we can fill some pages, even BAM players are not in Canada. Don't wanna put it all into the Live-stream thread:eek:
So it seems there is a better chance for Germans to progress further, one lady is already in the Semifinals before QF start:D
What else? Flandy still alive, Taufik on the road - best of all - we still have great live stream! Thanks again for that!

Good initiative !!
Looks like nobody was interested in creating day-per-day threads...

Germany has a girl in SF for WD, but France also has a guy in SF in MS !!

Brice Leverdez vs Simon Maunoury !

Bach/Gunawan vs Ellis/Langridge also interesting :)

hoping either azn_popcorn or madbad telling the match progress, it's so long waiting only from ts for the results...

Taufik and Zhu Lin are through to the semi-finals. For Men's Doubles, the winners included Gunawan & Bach, Shin & Kim (Korea), and Fang & Lee (Taiwan).

I'm sure the remaining results will be updated by tomorrow on tournamentsoftware.com.

I think Fang/Lee and Bach/Gunawan will make the final, a repeat of the Singapore Open SS final. Zhu Lin to win it.

Hi Dede. Nothing really controversial nor out of the ordinary happened yesterday. Taufik came focused this time and had little trouble against Lind. Zhu stuggled a little in her first set before winning, but had control in the second set. Tony & Bach simply controlled their England opponents.

The only thing that is noteable is that England is probably trying to medal at the 2012 Olympics in London and they came with all their best players. Many of England's players are ranked higher against the other players in this tournament. However, England's performance has been very disappointing at this tournament and while they will have home court advantage in London, I can't see them beating any of the top 5 badminton nations at the Olympics, even with home court advantage.

FYI, the results and scores are at:

lol, it doesn't imply that they are home oriented lah, i remember when Clark-Robertson clinched the md title in Singapore (CMIIW)
and i see a good prospect in mixed doubles...
