Lin Dan has already "passed up" 3 SS tourneys, I don't supposed there is the need for him to "help" CJ when CL is up there to face CW. LD had better take care of his own need this time, at least get to the semi to maintain his ranking or he might find himself in the same half of the draw with CW in future.

All this while, the London OG probability has been, say, LD 60% to CW 40% (or 55 to 45 if you like), but now the equation has been complicated by Chen Long's emergence - I won't venture to guesstimate, what with a possible dark horse to add to the complexity nearer to the Games.

Actually, the OG isn't such a strong and important tournament if not for its rarity to make it special; otherwise it is merely equivalent to any Super Series. It is a well-known fact that often the OG winner is not the best in the world, with a number of participants suddenly performing better than themselves or peaking just at the right time, carried on by the euphoria, and so on and so forth.

Cheng Shu/Pan Pan vs Tian Qing/Zhao Yunlei today. My big bro predicted TQ/ZY will give way to CS/PP to boost their ranking. Maybe, maybe not...I don't care what the Chinese players want to do anymore.

If my fave pairs Miyuki/Satoko and Vivian/WKW can survive their rounds, I'm happy.

For tiny SG,in the SEA Games,we have two powerhouses, INA and MAS,followed by Thailand and Vietnam,to contend with, imagine that - a daunting task!
