Sony has lost, again? It is sad, but not a joke. Great player who perhaps has reached a turning point in his career. Hey Sony, if you want to retire, think about coaching in Canada! We'll take ya!
I feel sorry for Sony who is an all-round good guy. Unfortunately he's finding it harder to recover from this injury and is a pale shadow of himself. Might be right to call time on his international career.
Tan isn't a bad player. The Belgian is building on his successes in prestigious tournaments such as this.
Veteran Dicky Palyama and JOJ seem to have their hands full. They each are going into the rubber with their respective opponents, Tan and Varma.
I gotta say, the Swedish qualifier who fought Lin Dan had some glorious moments catching some futile, impossible shots; but got killed by his some unforced errors and out-of-court shots. LD was basically returning whatever passed the net and earned his 21:15, 21:11 just by keeping the other side fighting and eventually - failing. The better match took place just five meters away on court 2: Yong Zhao Ashton CHEN vs. Suppanyu AVIHINGSANON they fought hard, hard, hard on every point score of the match. They would have deserved much more applause than they got for this.
Oh...Rasmus Fladberg decides to focus in Singles? That's too bad...I though he's a gem for Denmark in Doubles.
Yup, chris they secured main draw ticket Hopefully Linda can overcome Nedelcheva today Indeed, with PG retirement will come soon, no worries for Denmark since they have Jorgensen, Vittinghus, Axelsen and Fladberg.
cant believe WZM lost in the very early round. there's might be another upset today But i just hope my fav player wont make me cry at least not today . will see who's make it through to the next round
