I'm a small fan of the Japanese pair, so it's good to see them convert good play into a semi-final.
You didn't notice their opponents, buxom Jwala and pretty Ashwini?miyuki and reiko are both are attractive! japanese team has so many pretty girls. The volleyball team also has many pretty girls, too!
That lazy bum, who does he think he is, $#@!*&+(!?=
I wish GrandMaster Tang Xianhu give Lin Dan and now Chen Jin some talking-to, they don't seem to know how fortunate they are, in TXH's days how many opportunities did he get to play...

Honestly, I comprehend and accept your explanation. At that time, during the Cold war between the US and the former Soviet Union, China being a member of the Non-Aligned Movement has to consider the good relations and unity of mostly Third World countries, therefore political and diplomatic considerations are paramount, hence "throwing matches",etc.. But today, there is no new Cold War... Anyway, whatever, I will never throw insults, taunts, make racial slurs at China or any country for that matter. In fact, most of my badminton heroes are from China and I would like them to be good role models as well. My scolding Chen Jin was meant to be facetious, no offence intended, I apologise if I've unwittingly caused a misunderstanding.Even Tang, the thing, Hsienhu and compatriots had to throw matches to Indonesia during the early sixties under the instructions from the top. Liang Keliang had two throw matches to the Japanese in the name of Ping Pong diplomacy. It Is not easy to be a Chinese sportsman. The greater interest of the country comes before personal interest. Luckily they are not in this forum. It will be very difficult for them to stomach the insults, taunts and sometimes racial slurs thrown at them.
