Cai/Fu didn't exactly dominate proceeding, 21-11 and 21-17 vs the AUS pair.

Cai - Fu nearly got the shock of their life....still they prevail.

No reason for them to not top the easiest group in the tournament.

AUS and CAN players always get the best support in Wembley...

I'd say Shon Wan Ho's 21-15,21-19 win over V Ivanov is too close for comfort.Maybe I should say the Russian has improved quite a lot.

The Chinese Taipei pair of Fang/Lee have won convincingly against the german pair of Kindervater/Schöttler 21-15 21-16.
Sigh! I expected the Germans to do better than that. On another note, I've always been bemused by the name Kindervater! In german, it translates into, ChildrenFather (Kinder= Children; Vater= Father)

Surprise, surprise, CHN swimmer SUN YANG grabs the Gold in men's 400m freestyle, breaks Olympics Record (3:40.14)... silver for KOR; bronze for USA.

He just trailed behind the KOR until the last lapse, guess this is China's first Gold from swimming in London.

An historical achievement for CHN men's swimming team!!

Off-topic: Sun Yang has just created history in becoming the first CHN male swimmer to win an Olympic swimming gold by beating the world champion Park Tae Hwan of KOR in the 400m individual freestyle.

Another surprise is Michael Phelps, the 8 gold medallists in Beijing 2008 OG was just beaten out of a medal in the 400m individual medley by Ray Lochte and two others.

Sorry,I thought the above is newsworthy, won't be doing it too often. (Didn't realised somebody beat me to it).
