CJ is finished
Chen Jin is OUT of the Olympics... can you guys believe that!!!!?!?!?!
Lee Hyun Il (7)(KOR) bt (CHN)(4) Chen Jin : 21-15, 21-16
what happened to CJ to lose in straight sets???
Has a men's singles badminton player finished 4th twice before in consecutive Olympics?
what history? he was there before
and he takes it!!
Lee Hyun Il beat Chen Jin 21-15 / 21-16
YES! it happened twice...
history because this is the first time LHI beat CJ in 2 games?
Good one Lee Hyun Il!!
It shows that in the Olympics given a level playing field, even at your age you can finish him off in straight sets.
LHI is indeed amazing, another veteran of the highest order. Lin Dan had better not play like he did vs Sasaki today when facing LHI tomorrow.
off to play badminton, l8ers
I feel bad for CJ. So much injuries..., worked so hard, but he could never reach LD's level.
and the last match Canada vs. Japan.
Bruce Li lost first game despite starting pretty well.
with all due respects, the Japanese girls are much stronger on paper.
not surprised at all....CJ didn't look impressive in this tournament...had marc not get injured he would've downed CJ in two games
LHI got his revenge! Nothing beats that... LD is gonna have to run around again in the semis. I suppose EVERYONE is gonna have to work extra hard and not let their guard down even from a split second.
Among the three CHN MS, I think Chen Long performs the best so far but he will have an uphill battle versus LCW tomorrow.
and 2012 OG will has 3 of 4 2008 OG badminton MS SFist.
can we count this as a history already?
Yup justice is done.
Would love to see Lin Dan and Chen Long play ............... for the bronze medal !!! LOL
