Japan lost two games to DEN...trailing 2-0 now

Seriously, why put Sayaka Sato as their first choice ? Putting her in the first singles is like giving away free points to their opponents.

What is there to blast (against LCW)? Injury happens. Just happens it is not MAS day.
The 1st MD also plays abit of luck against MAS because the DEN hit several net cord and went DEN's favour.

Yup, Ai Goto and Eriko are better than her despite she's #1 JPN WS.
DEN leads 2-0 for both Thomas and Uber Cup.

Both Darren Liew and JOJ started on very high tempo from the 1st point.
But, I think JOJ is the favorite to win this match

Please don't be so cruel. It is not a laughing matter.
What happens if it was SS or TH?
Will you still say such things?

Even Li YB in a recent interview expressed the highest praise for Lee CW,saying he is China's greatest threat and technically the equal of Lin Dan,just that LD has the upper hand in mental strength, a more competitive environment and the fact that he's beaten LCW so many times that the latter hasn't been able to cope with the greater psychological pressure. [That's how I understood and paraphrased him, quite correctly I believe]

I think it is to Japan ladies advantage since their 2nd and 3rd WS will have a higher chance to win.

but isn't that one more reason to play Sayaka in #1? she will be sacrificed in the first spot and the "stronger" Ai / Eriko will/may get points from the weaker #2/#3 Danish girls.

remember that this is a team tournament. it is the total number of matches won that counts.
