let give it some numbers and punch them into a spreadsheet to calculate the probability for both teams. if i use the following probabilities: CHN:KOR MS: 75:25 WS: 60:40 MD: 50:50 WD: 80:20 XD: 60:40 then using my spreadsheet which exhaustively lists out all possible outcomes, the calculation give us: China wins: 77.1% Korea wins: 22.9% you can check my spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgnW5s1NJDLldFgtMzFocExiRkFWS1h3YVRZOV9DZUE&usp=sharing
I couldn't see LXR is in her best form, too many mistakes !!! I could see SJH in her very best form, especially the semifinal match against Inthanon. Their head to head can't be a judgement for this meet (if the game goes to the 4th match), I give 50:50 for LXR vs SJH. it can be 2-3 or 1-3 as well though unlikely to happen.
Come to think of it,the SF scare for from INA is a blessing in disguise lest CHN is lulled into complacency and let the undesirable or even shocking result occur later in the SF or F. The lineup looks fine though I didn't quite XC/MJ to replace Z/Z. Let the show begin.
you mean to slow? It took me minutes to make one reply. I test my internet connection and there is no problem at all.
I just don't see that KOR squad has the adequate fire power to hinder CHN from securing its 5th consecutive Sudirman Cup holding! For KOR team, to be able to perform in this finale is already a good achievement by itself... fate may paint differently if it's drew to face INA or DEN squad on the way here....
As for WS, I have a slight preference for WYH to be chosen instead of LXR who is sometimes given to lapses of concentration (brainfade as some would say except that this term is more appropriately used in F1 auto racing, the nature of the sport is different). As for Xu Chen, he actually took the blame for that QF loss saying he inexplicably lost focus in the latter part of the 3rd set. Let's see how he redeems himself this time. Here we go, the battle begins.
Xu Chen may have more firepower than Zhang Nan but also less stable. Maybe CHN sensed that he is raring to go to make amends for himself and chose him for that motivation.
