2014 Li-Ning BWF WORLD Championships : Day-3 . Thanking CLELY for starting this thread, and giving us info. So unfortunate that Sandy is still not back yet (to organise our BadmintonCentral PAW Games). IMHO, the noteworthy clashes mentioned above can be won by these players (in bold); - Michelle Li (CAN) v Porntip (THA) - Goh VS/Lim KW (MAS) v Lee SM/TSai CH (TPE) - Adcock/Ellis (ENG) v Kamura/Sonoda (JPN) - Lee SH/Shin SC (KOR) v Andini/Nuraidah (INA) - Zwiebler (GER) v Chen L (CHN) - Pratama/Saputra (INA) v Conrad/Kolding (DEN) .
I think we should include these matches for the noteworthy clashes too : Qing Tian/ZYL vs Jwala Gutta/Ashwini Ponnapa Yippy vs Wang Shixian Koo Kien Kiat / TBH vs Li / Liu (former WBC Junior champion) Bellatrix vs Tai Tzu Ying

Should be another interesting match.
Any chance there is a Live streaming of Court #2 & #3? None of the indonesians is playing on Court #1 today
TV Courts Starting today there will be two TV courts. I have no clue about live streaming though, as I watch on Danish TV and live in the arena Yesterday, Ueda really lost his concentration after the bad call (which by the way I think was very bad sportsmanship by THW). Ueda should have been able to keep his calm. Japan has not been too lucky, with 3 of 4 mens single players out. (Tago injured, Momota and Ueda out in round one). Only Sasaki is left. I watched them practice before the tournament and I actually thought they would have fared better! In addition, they also have injuries in other categories. Takahashi looked really strong in WS during practice, I expect her to have a chance to surprise. However, she do face a tough opponent in Saina Nehwal in round 3 - expect a very good match there. Yesterday I think Tommy Sugiarto looked very strong as well, though it can be difficult to asses with the quality of the round one opponents (as was the case with Chen Long). The Vittinghus match was a pleasure to watch, he also seemed really sharp and on top of his game.
Talentwise srikanth is better. But when you consider the disappointment rajiv encountered in commonwealth games by kashyap as well as guru, he will surely come with a revenge.
I still think ouseph will win ! we shall see tonight. No doubt srikanth is better in terms off talent.
It's the younger talent vs. the older experience. I put my money on experience this time around, it being the WC and all. But if they meet again in a couple of years in the same conditions, I think Srikanth will take it, no contest.
Do you mean that BWF will be streaming two courts on youtube or what? I would love to see Eetu Heino vs. Jan O on court 2 today. I know that there are some streams for court 2 but the quality isn't very good. In addition I'm interested if there is any possibility to see action on court 4 as Ville Lång is playing today on that court!
Yeah first exciting match of the day - they're really close. I saw Canada practice during the weekend, they were sharing courts with Taipei and some other small delegation. It was really difficult to asses the condition of the players, they were not really going at it while I was there, just playing around. I think it'll go to 3rd set - very exiting match.
