Yeah, that's really unexpected. They won their match easily in straight-sets. I expected Firda and Simon would have a tough match against Porntip and Tian Houwei respectively.

Being outside the national team, it turns out, make them play more consistent. Good for them. These better results lately have brought them to get nominated into INA Thomas & Uber team. :)

Yes, and I am NOT joking. See the replay of 2nd game when Msia pair leading 20-19... LimKW was supposed to serve to his left opponent but he served to the right side of the opponent court... That was the worst serve that I'd ever seen at international/world class level of badminton...

Unbelievable....Ricky/Berry were leading 14-11....and they only managed 1 more pt as the Japanese pair capitalized on the mistakes made by the INA pair to take the second-set 21-15.

Ricky/Berry are leading 11-8. This is by no means safe as shown in the second-set. The pair who makes the least mistakes will take the match.

    Still a tight-match at 15-15.

The Japanese pair was leading 18-16, only for the INA pair to step up a gear and win the next 5 pts in a row to take the set and the match 21-18. So, it will be an all-INA match tomorrow in MD, with Ricky Karanda Suwardi/Berry Angriawan facing the higher-ranked Rian Agung Saputro/Angga Pratama. Rian/Angga should make it to the last 8.

Yup, looks like he's more motivated same case with Firda, positive trend which is good for their career.

    Usually only court 1 & 2 have live-streaming.

Son Wan Ho doesn't perform well in back to back IND & SIN SS, he's knocked out by Hsu Jen Hao here, 20-22 / 15-21.

I guess ma/wang have been apart for too long that they are used to different styles of play now. It's sad, I was really looking forward to watching them as a pair :(
