Have to admit it, Intanon is the better player, today, WSX's defenses just not up to it this time.

Actually i was surprise with the lost of Carolina in the first round to WSX, but no wonder Carolina migh be too tired after winning Australia Open Title..

And there you go.. What i say, CHN will be working very hard to break other countries dominance in WS.. ;)

I feel bad for Wang Shixian. I hope one of these days she will finally be able to transform her game and once again regain dominance in the circuit.
Meanwhile, I expected no less from my favorite in WS, congrats Ratchanok! :D

What do you think if CHN fail to win back to back title in Australia and Indonesia? Will they kick out their senior players like WYH, LXR or WSX? And bring their young WS like Sun Yu, and .... ?? More into a crisis with their stock in WS. Sad

    Congratulations to RI,Well deserved win.
Queen tried her best but the opponent was much better on the day.But great performance from the queen too in the tourney knocking out the defending champion.Back to back semifinal and final appearance in superseries level is something to be proud of.I hope she plays even greater at World championship without bothering too much about this match at the same time learning from her mistake as NTF'S golden rule states:
"Acknowledge your defeat but never accept it."

Sad day for me and opruh!

Even the WS are finding it hard to win or do well in back-to-back SS tourneys. IIRC, LXR was the only one to do it last year (and in previous years), cmiiw.

A superb match by Ratchanok INTANON [6] vs WANG Shixian [5], and RI plays more superbly today, while WSX also makes more UE. It's a RI day! Congratz for earning a spot in the finals.

For WSX, my thumbs up too! You are the good representation of a bull fighter, relentless fighting till the last point. You set a remarkable example for all your compatriots to follow, to keep on fighting determinedly till the end!

Quuen Shixian, you will always be my number one!
This is me right now :crying:
But reaching the semis is definitely something to be proud of! :D
Hope WSX will bounce back for the World Championships.

Anyway, I don't think my brain can handle more intense badminton, i'll be back for tomorrow's finals.
I'm going to switch to Tennis for the rest of the night to see how Serena will do.

Enjoy your badminton here guys! :D

Okay, pretty sure China will win this one. Just got a feeling that Ahsan/Setiawan "50/50" style will end up being "40/60" today hehe.

No need for such a hype. It's all just a momentarily downside, even though they miss the other WSSF today, which I believe they won't! Comparatively they still have the best array of WS.
