TANG Yuanting/YU Yang is not an excellent combination to the Chinese WD traditions, Yu is the weak link here, being offset by the greatness of Tang. Wanna see a better partner for Tang after Rio! Anyhow congratz for the title.

Luckily JUNG Kyung Eun/SHIN Seung Chan is not that strong today, tho they beat a junior Chinese pair in straight, Chen/Jia in the QF.

Jung Kyung Eun is beautiful, in addition to the game itself, she's pleasant to watch.

The umpire was terrible, made a fatal error in the challenge fiasco in the G1, gave the point to the CHN pair instead of KOR. Luckily the G1 score was far separated thus the error was immaterial to the game outcome, just imagine if it happened in the tighter G2.

As usual, the repeated service fault calls were disgusting... this time "the racket heads were too high" complementing the cock was too high above the waste line... WTF!!! silly kinds of the game rules, to the subjective eyes of the holy judge, why do the high priests in federation keep on trying to regulate all the fine details... why don't give some flexibility and improvisation to the player in doing some good service, as part of the game skill instead of interrupting the game flow???

Absolutely agree, something must be done about the service fault rule. For a start, before they work it out, maybe push the service line all the way to the back, use the full court, to ease the pressure to serve low as high to the waist as possible. And we should get a bit more high serves as well, for variation.

What a strong ending to the first game by the Koreans.

Chai/Hong despite leading throughout the first set lost the game 19-21.

The Kims came from behind to win G1 21-19. Plenty of fast flat plays with the Koreans rather effective with their shots. Can they prove that their win over compatriot WR1 yesterday was no fluke nor predetermined?

Hmm.. The Korean pair is looking solid at the moment. Not many unforced errors from them.

The speed of the Koreans seemed to have disrupted the Chinese rthymn, leading 14-9 now.

It makes me want to laugh when I read some of the earlier posts. When One poster announced that he is switching his support to another player another poster responded like he has won over a new convert to his religion and declared his dislike for a photo like a fanatical non- Christian declares his/ her dislike for the sight of a crucifix.

Chai Biao scores a smash against KGJ, his partner Hong also scores with another smash, but the Kims are running away 17-12.

An easy net smash gave the Kims another point, which CB countered with his own smash. Match point for Korea 20-13.
