2016 TOTAL BWF TUC Finals - Day 8 (22nd May) : THOMAS Cup FINAL

I like the INA white t-shirt.
So do the Chinese fans-- and they are wondering why Li Ning sponsors INA such nice shirts; while the Chinese team keeps getting a whole series of striped pajamas...

Especially since not many in the Chinese team-- except Lin Dan, Fu Haifeng etc.-- play fast enough to create any kind of "visual distraction" with those stripes.

You don't have top league but you have hot players!!! Daniel Agger is hot as fXXk (sorry for my word)!!! For me he's much much better than David Beckham:D
Danish badminton players are also very handsome,Peter Gade is like a prince to me. Kenneth Jonassen is also very good-looking,so is HKV.Peter Gade was actually the first 'Super Star' in badminton. I'm talking about his commercial value here. PR agencies started to promote badminton players because of Peter Gade.
Denmark have the potential to attract more European capitals as it's not too difficult to promote a good-looking white top player in Europe.I'm not being racist, just telling the fact. And big names and their fame will surely bring in fortune. Danish just need big titles to have top PR agents attentions and now they have TC. I won't expect too much but there will be more sponsors coming with proper PR works.
DBF could be another story though...
LOL, talk about being politically incorrect-- as far as badminton fans are concerned, the Prince of Denmark is Peter Gade... he was specially requested for a press conference (complete with a few signings) in Kunshan 2016, even though French sponsors didn't arrange one for their team/corporation.

Royalty arrives...

Rocking that 5 o'clock shadow...

No official "Peter Gade" memorabilia though..

Not sure how these kids know him-- online videos...?

I don't think BAM would spend so much investing in Frost and Hendrawan on LCW, for just nothing as an answer.
Like I said, LCW doesn't have to answer anything-- because his match (& even team) performance answers everything.... KKK/TBH running out of steam and even CWF crumbling under pressure are sad but understandable situations (MAS should be fielding a younger MD2 & MS3 like INA, if they could).

"Nothing as an answer" is what you call Chen Long's match performance and post-game attitude.

Peter could be rich for just selling cookies in China!!

I think he enjoys challenging Chen Long and Lin Dan by proxy-- it was quite ridiculous/unexpected how hard and how well the French MS fought in the Group Stages--if INA had hired Peter Gade (like Denmark hired the Sideks), Ginting and Ihsan would be giving a real fight to JOJ & HKV.

Maybe that's where CL started falling apart... no one, not even the French, wanted to play his slow, controlling game-- either that or everyone has been reading "Tiger Takes Down The Dragon-- Son Wan Ho's Manual to Dismantling Chen Long".

Sounding a bit desperate to me, if not needing to answer anything while haven't achieved anything big. Not really what the Malaysian side want though, if they've put expensive investment in getting Hendrawan or Frost for him on their taxpayers expense. Being LCW's arch rival aside, even Chen Long already lifted the TC twice himself. LCW need to prove to nobody but himself, after failing all these times, even his most ardent fans already like whatever when he's not getting any of the biggies because maybe time over time they get very used to it already.

The DEN use an Indonesian product as a sponsor by the way.

;)

While the Danish biscuit producer has launched a case against a competitor for copying its Danish butter cookies and selling them on the Chinese market.

Good luck to the Danish producers, cos at the most they are just going to the Indonesian producer to alter their logo and wording-- there's no way they will be granted a monopoly on butter cookies, especially when the two products actually do look/taste different (it's not a "copy" if consumers can tell the difference).

Even Coca Cola could not create a monopoly on colas, and Danish cookies are not champagne (the sparkling wine from Champagne).

LOL, desperate sounds about right for Chen Long: no one is ever going to hire Chen Long as a coach based on the way he plays, except maybe Li Yongbo (barring retirement)-- so the 2016 Rio Olympics may be his last chance get any kind of lasting foreign/international sponsorship deal....

After all, his truely memorable characteristic is his ability to avoid injury, play season after season and get a record no. of ranking points.
