The 2017 Summer Universiade (Chinese: 2017年夏季世界大學運動會; pinyin: 2017 Nián Xiàjì Shìjiè Dàxué Yùndònghuì), the XXIX Summer Universiade, is scheduled for Taipei, Taiwan. Badminton will be contested at the 2017 Summer Universiade from August 23 to 29 in Taipei, Taiwan in the Taipei Gymnasium. Still indeed India joining Badminton event in 2017 Summer Universiade. You can see in my post above about All Result (in PDF). Some IND players, e.g Kawaldeep Singh meeting Jeon Heok Jin in Round 0f 64 individual event. Aman Kumar vs Fedrico Sebastian Diaz [ARG] in Round of 128. IND sent 3 MS, 3 WS, 3 MD, 2 WD, 2 XD. In Mixed Team event, IND was in Group F along with Hong Kong, Slovenia and Sweden, finished as runner-up group after losing 1-4 to Hong Kong and won over Slovenia and Sweden 5-0, 4-1 respectively. So only Hong Kong as group leader, advanced into Quarter Final. QF Result: KOR vs JPN : 2-3 GER vs MAS : 2-3 THA vs HKG : 3-1 RUS vs TPE : 0-3 SF Result: JPN vs MAS : 3-2 THA vs TPE : 3-0 Final Result: JPN vs TPE : 0-3 Summer Universiade is not South East Asian Games (SEA Games). It's similar with Olympics Games, but only for University Students as participants representing their country.
