Naa...An athelete knows his or her body best...I jst hope she recovers from her injury soon.
Team events are different from individual events. Ashwini Ponappa raises her game in team events. Ashwini in individual events is not great.
Here expecting Chan/Goh playing up to their standard and not wasting leads like their match in the mixed team.
Satwik Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty Beat Peng Soon Chan/Soon Huat Goh in 3 games.
21-14, 15-21, 21-9
First time ever to top CWG podium, the rising India team did it, when Lee CW lost to Srikanth, it's gone case for Malaysia.
Individual competition, India players are strong contender in singles category.
Srikanth already through to last four and will take on Rajiv Ouseph, other semifinal tie will pit most likely Prannoy vs Lee Chong Wei.
Women's singles, two Indian aces Saina Nehwal will be tested by Scottish talent Kirsty Gilmour while Pusarla Sindhu will face either Sonia Cheah or Michelle Li tomorrow.
One game good, let see how can they lose this time.
Chan/Goh wins it in straight. Finally playing a little up to their standard. They have been in a lousy form until now.
Chan/Goh has being in the same standard. But the opposition today has not given enough resistance.
Definitely, Aswini/Satwik is dangerous than Sikki/pranav.
You mean the ever low standard? Unless you are saying something here...
I was talking about them in this tournament. They were playing in the same way as they played in the team finals. But today, the opposition is not good. Satwik/Aswini were brilliant on that day.
Agree Had it been Ashwini and Satwik there was no way for the pair to have had won the match.
Besides theres nothin called "LAZY FORM" as posted by someone up there I believe that all the athletes give their UP TO THE MARK in all games..the point is ONE side plays better than the other and some might not accept this but this is the truth.
So yeps Malaysians Mixed Won cause they played better than the Indian couterparts and I as an Indian accept this fact just like Indians in Mixed matches Defeated the Malaysians cause they were just not up to the fine standard of Indian team.
One Loses One Wins this is the fact and true sportsmen spirit is to admit the loss rather posting stuff like "Lazy form" etc.
Theres nothin called "LAZY FORM" for a player if he or she give their 100% but at times the opponent is just too strong to defeat.
Simple as that.
What an experience for this talented youngster from Singapore. He has been playing very well in this tournament.
Let's see if Goh/Lai can hold their standard as top 10 in the world.
Tan/Lai already a failure.
Hope they can play well and not super error form.
Opss, they're playing real bad.
How did MAS XD has regressed so strongly?
The farewell of Jeremy Gan really has been affecting XD.
They will screw up at the tight moment..
