2022 Yonex French Open

Knowing China, they will have a plan to deal with Axelsen at the Olympics. Shi Yu Qi might not win against Axelsen these next few months. The plan would be to test Axelsen and analyse his decision making in various areas of the court. Work on Shi Yu Qi’s skills especially around the net. Then put the plan into place around April May before the Olympics.
I think many countries wouldve tried analysis and all that already. but there's only so much you can do vs DA AXEL.

I'm afraid that's not a good analogy to make comparisons - different court material is a significant, if not entirely game-changing, factor as compared with different approved shuttle speeds..

I hope we can agree that if you change the parameters of the game enough, different players will come out on top. We may disagree on how much is "enough". Indeed top players can adjust to many things. But you cannot adjust your way to a harder smash if you were already hitting at full power.

That's why we talked about clay/grass court specialists in tennis, not fast/slow speed shuttle specialists in badminton.
We don't? Maybe you don't ;)

Also , if as you claimed, "They all meet the speed requirements under some but not all circumstances (temperature, humidity)", then they shouldn't be approved in the first place. Remember, the shuttles have to be within the stipulated speed ranges under approved playing conditions, such as lighting, wind , and the prevailing temperature and humidity of the tournament hall/arena

If you by this mean that a shuttle should only be approved if it's speed is acceptable under all approved conditions, then I would like to ask you to find the rule that states this. Because I don't believe that is true. And if it is just your opinion, then fine, we just disagree :). But I think conditions affect shuttle speed to much for that to be possible.
And one more thing. Playing conditions are not always as the rules dictate. Huelva was freezing cold for example. Way below minimum allowed temperature. A faster than normal shuttle had to be used there.

Congrats to Tan/Thinaah for their first ever World Tour title, I couldn't even think of any Malaysian WD pair that had won anything in recent times.

A successful year for Malaysian doubles dept, frankly speaking.

Good victory.
Another hurdle they must overcome is CHN WD pair.
Once they break this duck, the future is brighter.
