    Regretful for Cai/Fu.

But I think nobody can win the MD title in a line, they do well much enough recently.

Cai/Fu can get more experience from the Semi. It will be benifit for their Athens's match.

I cant stop shaking my head!!! darn... i think cai/fu wsnt half the team they ws yesterday whn they disposed lee/yoo.. they lost the match to lee/choong and most of thmselves.. sorry to the m'sian fans out thr..

in the 1st game, they basically let lee/choong hd a 10 points head start, it ws so quick n so many unforced errors, mostly by fu.. in the 2nd game, its cai yun's turn... whn they hd good lead of 7-2, suddenly, cai ws lk a man cursed wif bad luck, making 6 or 7 bad shots continuously... darn....

anyway, congrats to lee/choong.. i think they will, n shd tk the AE title..
    malaysia boleh!!! hicksss.. hickkksss....

Lin dan win the first set 15-6.

It seems Ronald has no threat to LinDan.

Surprised win for Choong & Lee, both 28 over their younger Chinese opponents. The Danish opponents for the Finals are older by more experienced. So it is not going to be plain sailing. As kwun has said, none of us has predicted this MD correctly! In a way, we are all on level playing field again. We still have a chance to win the contest.

Looks like Ronald is no match for Lin Dan, having lost the first game already. The fairy tale stops here for Ron. If Lin Dan beats Peter Gade in the Final, I still score a point. But I may win 2 points if Gong Rina beats Zhou Mi. Kim & Ra seems to be a sure bet for the XD.

Jalani Sidek commented on Tv b4 match that Choong/Lee ought to win

based on experience. Cai Fu are good but limited in variety, not sure when to attack and when to defend and when to slow or accelerate.

Reminds you of Taufik not knowing how to pressure a lethargic Gade.

Stll good learning experience for Cai and Fu.

Jalani Sidek states that whoever wims the Lee/Choong -Cai/Fu contest will take the Ae as he sees the Danes as lame.

    Don't put pressure on them

Take it easy and don't put any pressure on Lee/Choong, these pair is very unstable when expectation is high. I expect a close match even though deep in heart I think it should be an easy match, just in case ...

GAO/HUAGN survived after RA/LEE lead 14-10 in the decisived game.

    GAO/HUANG WIN 9-15/15-4/17-14.

All in all,80% of my prediction is exact.

Only CAI/FU AND ERIKSEN/SCHJOLDAGER betray my trust.

    ^^

Don't you think "betray my trust" is too strong a statement??:p Anyway, GJ to Lin and nice try for Cai/Fu. I'm sure we have not heard the last of them!;)
But I am really surprised that he Ra/Lee vs Gao/Huang match lasted over 2 hours!! This Korean WD pair is really the ONLY threat to Chinese dominance.

Thankfully, Ra will be retiring soon....

the key to winning is on Choong Tan Fook....

when he play well.... the pair PLAYED REALLY WELL......

when he made mistakes... and erross... the pair lose...

well.. lee wan wah is more consistant...the key is whether tan fook can absorb the pressure... and play his best........

well.... actually i'm kind of surprise how the danes got into the final..................

    to me....

the good pairs are cai/fu(CHN), lee/choong(MAS), limpele/eng(dunno what happened to them) ,lee/yoo(KOR) , Kim/Ha(Sadly HA has been out of tourney since OCT last year and only made a comeback last month or last 2 months)

it's not that i don't support European pairs...... but they're just not not really up to asian standard yet............it's the game they play... europeans attacking play is not up to asians standard yet....

u can't just judge performance by ranking........... ranking is meaningless......

    Hey Kwun!

Are you sure of that? I thought I put Chong/Lee to beat Limpele/Hian in the MD for the contest!

Lame is too harsh a word. Are you sure he said lame, or did you translate it from Malay? I think Paaske/Rasmussen is a good pair with the potential to be great. But I don't see any other emerging pairs from Europe.
