Well... most likely it will turn out to be an all-China semi-final for MS this year. For some reason, ever since Li Mao left LHI years ago, LHI turned into Mr. quarter finalist... wonder if it will work out the same for LCW which we will see tomorrow. If CY beat LCW tomorrow, LCW will have obtained 3 quarter-finalist spot out of the 3 super series tournament... LOL. Li Mao usually leaves, once he realizes that China has done its analysis on his player(s), and his players has not became world-champ at the time. Look at LHI's case, Li Mao left as soon as China started kicking LHI's rear end... then look at LCW's case, it's the exact same thing. Still, Li Mao is smart to realize that the only two country that he can make a decent living out of coaching badminton are Malaysia and Korea, so I bet he will constantly be switching between these 2 countires.
I hope it's not all China SF. Had enough of those recently... so boring. I wouldn't mind another LD vs CJ (or LCW) final though .
Honestly, at this moment neither CJ or LCW(if he can make it pass 2 China players) will be too much of a threat to LD. LD's dominance at this time is rather obvious. As long as LD is playing against anyone other than in-form TH, it usually will end up quite one-sided in favor of LD... NOTE: I am more of a Gade fan, but the truth is LD = too strong at the moment!!!
Yeah I know he's totally dominant at the moment. But he does lose sometimes, and that's usually when people least expect it (eg. against PSH). I'm not expecting him to lose but if CJ plays, I'd like to see if he can do any better than in the KO. And if LCW makes the finals against him, then it will be the first time in a fair while that they have played each other. It would be interesting to see if LCW can still stretch LD to 3!
