INA at match point 20-8. This is a very encouraging performance from Nova Butet. They win 21-8. Very tough match tomorrow against Nathan/Gail and all their screaming fans

I will assume by fat you mean a big chance...she has an allround game and weapons that WMC did not have againt HYY. and She has beaten Lu Lan & other new CHN WS before....

Should be easy game for KOR MD again......HKG pair OK but Beating Cai/Fu flattered them...cai/fu were abysmal

    Phew...done and dusted.

Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir have beaten He Hanbin/Yu Yang 22-20, 15-21, 21-8 to be INA's sole representative in the last 4 tonight. This also deals He/Yu a big blow in their Olympics qualification hope.

Meanwhile, Nova/Butet face another tough encounter against the home pair Nathan Robertson/Gail Emms, a repeat of the SF in 2006, where they were again INA's last hope also.

How old is this HHY? Maybe I should say the younger won over the older WMC.

I am pessimistic.....Nova/Butet have never gone past the SF, beaten 2 times I think in their efforts to reach the Final, once by Laybourn/Rytter-Juhl (2005) and the other once by Robertson/Emms (2006).

Last year, they were stopped in the QF by He/Yu.
