I apologize for my minor outburst earlier / last night. I have seen too many unjustified negative remarks on Misbun and the Hashim brothers from fellow Malaysians when they have seemingly done little wrong.

Anyway, I am glad LCW advanced. He has a fair chance (50-50) against Chen Hong. Meanwhile, what happened to WCH (or Sato) in the second and third set? But I think he has little chance against Lin Dan. I don't know which match will be on tv, but I hope it will be LCW-CH because it is on paper, a closer match.

Perhaps Chin/Wong can give Wei/Zhao a little bit more fight than they did in Germany.

The Hashim brothers made it to the semis in year 2003 as well.

i am going to add a middle name, Chong or Choon. Kwun Chong Han.. doesn't sound too bad. too bad i can't change my last name to Zhang. ;)

one time Malaysia was pretty close with Hafiz and Roslin. but too bad they were stuck to the same quarter.

we seem to be seeing a revival of Wong Choon Hann, who has been having a slump lately.

Malaysia will make history if both men qualified for the final and Wong/Chin make it to the semis. :D

Sang/Zheng leads 13-8. come on Jonas!!!!

Chin/Wong leading Wei/Zhao. a Malaysian WD pair advancing to the semi-final of the AE will also be a first.

I assume they refuse to set on JR/LP's second serve. Therefore, whether it is a bad move or a good one is about 50-50. Perhaps the second server was a bit inconsistent in his serves, so pile the pressure on him. The rest of us have the benefit of hindsight. We will go 180 degrees and say it is a good move if it worked.

    15-9, China won second set.

The Malaysian WD is kicking ass, but I bet on the Chinese will win at the end.

not to forget the 3rd match going on..

Olympics Gold medalists Zhang/Gao is being troubled by the Thai mixed pair Prapakamol/Thungthongkam. trailing 8-9 at the moment.

    Not history

True, we may have to use the same strategy to tire up Chen Hong so Choon Hann can take advantage in the final. The only question is can Choon Hann get thru Lin Dan? May be have Choon Hann drag Lin Dan to rubber sets so Chong Wei can take advantage of that, ... Can Chong Wei beat Chen Hong? Tough games and Malaysians are the underdog, both players should call Li Mao tonight.

One factor against the Chinese is Zhao Tingting had earlier toiled in her XD match for 74 minutes and lost.
So, she could be physically and mentally drained.

Wong/Chin, go and capitalize this advantage!!!

It's gonna be tough now for Wong/Chin that the Chinese seems to regain their touch.

Wei/Zhao vs. Wong/Chin : 17-15. what a close game with Wei/Zhao trailing most of the way.
