Hi Buddies, now it starts what we were waiting for:cool:
Let's see what will happen - can some of the new youngsters progress and show high performances? What about Olga now? the knight, JoJ? How many seats on podiums will go to China? Does England get back or will they leave the home courts early:confused: Lotta questions and lotta discussions coming up, nobody knows the end, even some of us think they already know the end - folks, some surprises are on the way!:D, just one thing's for sure - it's getting exiting!
What else to say? it's gonna be Taufik's week! :D:D:D

I am unlikely to get there until 1400 so good games I am likely to miss are:

    JYJ vs WMC

Chen Long Vs Jan O Jorg (I hope CL wins, so I can see him in thursday!)

KKK/TBH vs JR/LP (tough draw for both Go Jonas!!)

I am looking forward to seeing PG, WCH, Ma Jin, Saina Nehwal, LYD, Nguen TM & numerous other players old & young to see how they have chaned since last year.

LYB said 2 titles would be good enough this time, although last year they got 5...

Wew, tough draws and tricky matches for INA players since the veeery first round

Some casualties would be quite expected today, let's just hope this 100th AE won't turns out to be the killing fields for INA camp ;)

    Best of Luck!

Super Dan, after skipping Super Series events in South Korea and Malaysia is back on track having his sights set firm in the tournament he won 5 fives in 7 years:cool:`.

LCW swept the first two so LD is coming in as the second seed...seeding aside, I guess it's hard to see beyond LCW and LD...maybe Taufik is back on track too as his world rankings dictates;)?

Misbun had LCW lots and lots of practice against lefty players. However, I think simulation work is not the same as playing LD. Wonder though, since LD plays lots of right-handers, does practice a lot w fellow left-handers:confused:?

Although Tine Rasmussen dived to no. 10 in the rankings, I still think she can win it all. Just like WYH winning it all last year as an unseeded player. Tine at no. 10 though is not someone to be considered an unseeded:D.

Some really good matches on the very first day itself. Can't wait for tournament to begin.
Unfortunately, a European tournament means loss of sleep for poor me :crying:
