SOTX and RSL are brands that don't copy yonex rackets and make their own range of rackets.

If somebody says they don't use yonex does that make him/her an anti yonex person?

If I don't use SOTX does that mean I'm anti Yonex?

A lot of people here don't hate yonex, they just prefer other racquets, and find them better for the price. It's not as if anybody here hates Yonex like some people hate LYB and stuff.

Some people don't use yonex because they cannot afford the prices of their rackets.

There are so many brands out there that doesn't copy yonex racquets. Alot of them are specialist in other sports and use their knowledge and apply it to badminton.

So far, I have tried Ashaway, Carlton, Victor, Fischer, Hart, Dunlop and Yonex. Fischer racquets are very good, but mainly suitable for someone who needs flexy racquet. Victor on the other hand has probably one of the widest range of racquets for different requirements and if you are looking for a top quality racquet other than Yonex, consider Victor.

Cool ! Another Fischer user ! I was using the Pro no.1 83 but just sold it as I need a stiffer racquet. Very well made and feels good.

    I have quite a few racquets :)

I usually use the Carlton Nanolite 9500, very versatile racquet, good for doubles. I also use the Victor SW33P if more brute force is required. Sometimes I will also use my Arc Saber 10.

yonex is too costly...can't be say "anti-yonex"...just can say "anti-price"...all the high end racket is around RM300~RM700... it might be too over for me if i just a normal player unless i'm international player =D ...ProAce will be my choice..but currently using wilson nCode 9000 racket with head heavy while ProAce racket was too light for me...and this my 1st time using Wilson racket because of the frame colour was cool (black and white) ...anybody tried this racket?

Hey, watch yourself, don't jump to conclusions nor put words in my mouth.

For badminton, overall, Yonex still makes the best equipement.

Yonex equipment performs great, it just doesn't last for me. But then again, neither do the other manufacturers. :p

Yes, i do agree with dinkalot, if yonex doesnt make good badminton equipment, who does?:D:D
IMO, people are anti yonex because they are brainwashed by shopowners etc. Because they usually try to sell out other brands which gives them more profit. No offense. The normal line would be "buy xxxbrand, it performs just as well as yonex, but its half the price." :D:D

Maybe that's because u can't fully use them,or u are afraid of using it during doubles.:confused:..

I play double mainly. My first yonex rackets is my AT900T.My gf bought it for me as a birthday gift.I am afraid of using it,so i kept playing with apacs,kason,etc..whatever that costs cheaper than it.But now i have alot of yonex rackets already,n i'm no longer afraid of using yonex rackets to play doubles anymore. But,of course,i would have to see who am i playing with or who i am playing against.:p

no, not because I afraid to use it to play double or maybe triple :D

It just I not really statisfy with it, and nobody has influence me (like sgbad post, that might be they are brainwashed by shopowner, exactly not for me)

It just my opinion. For now, I dont like yonex racquet, but who knows in the future, I will use it again
