This is the problem with young kittens nowadays, only know how to envy, not on how to use their PAW and scratch on credit card for tickets .... wakakakaka. What happened to my motivational speech ...... I am not going to bother asking questions on behalf of some "lazy bum" enjoying Stadium Astro at home ..... so might as well you make the effort to see Taufik himself before he retires.
U have to ask HUMANs on this...CATs & KITTENs are not allowed to have credit cards... So, other than envy, kitten can't do more other than scratch here & there AT HOME...
fine, fine actually i thought it is you who are interested in knowing this at first? i'm just reminding you la..ceh this abedeng
Really, the broadcast picture quality of Day 1 leaves room for improvement ....... and there are too many seats in the actual stadium still available for your "huge frame". Not to mention THAT GUY prattling "expletives" all throughout the rallies, makes me feel tired easily. Probably the reason why all MAS doubles pairs lost on Day 1. Luckily, it had always been my mission to get away from terrible commentating.
will be living on day to day passes courtesy of a contact with the BAI. u will like the weather here. a cool 25 degrees with cloudy skies and light drizzles..
Excellent. Hopefully the swine flu thing does not boil things up further. We had a bit of a challenge here, thus pjswift and Jen will only be departing tomorrow evening direct to Hyderabad, arriving around midnight. Whereas I am moving via the longer (and more importantly, cheaper ) route via Chennai, turning into Hyderabad on Thursday morning. Should reach there before the round of 16 commences.
they are screening all passengers arriving into the city, self was put through scanners and a quickfire medical quiz by doc's present at the arrival terminal. the weather isnt helping much
hey, you should accompany John Burgess to make the commentary more interesting..in fact, u could make some part time pocket money too though. btw, john burgess did mentioned me(george@chongwei), limsy and daniel wong during his live commentary..i was shocked when he 1st mention it.. and blur at the same time.. John, where are you? please register and post here..i know u are here..hehe
Hi, all... I've been in the stadium since 9th, and truly it needs more BC members to fire the crowds up. Locals only cheers while Indian players got point, and other cheers come from players bench, especially from China and European supported their teammates. Might be its related with the security arrangement, swine flu issues, and ticket price, but, hey, this is world championship, and the players deserve more cheers and crowd...
Hey Copadh, This is truly sad for me but even after having the tickets, I am completely stuck with my work in office and will be able to attend the semi's and the finals only as they fall on the weekend.:crying:
Ah, hullo again, copadh. Reporting live again, I see ...... I'm sure the situation will improve further from tomorrow onwards, with additional BC "heavyweights" arriving tonight and tomorrow morning. Though I must say I am concerned with the lack of spectators, even India Open had more.
Abedeng the big reason why Indian Open had more spectators was because there was not this much security and the entry to the event was free.
