AVP as in Apacs Virtuoso Performance? The specs look similar to a Victor TK6000. Is this either a clone or direct competitor to the TK6000?

I'm new to Apacs' lineup of racquets. I notice that for some of their racquets they specify a numerical value next to the stiff/flex designation. What does a 8.0 (medium) mean when compared with a medium flex designation?

Does Apacs have a Brave Sword 12 competitor?

The AVP felt similar to BS12 to me. I felt a little more flex in both of those rackets than I do with my BS LHI rackets. The AVP isn't a clone of any racket, it's one of apacs high end own rackets.

Is the AVP more flexible compared to the BS12?

    Thanks,

    Justin

I would say they are around the same flexibility.

A Robert Blair racquet? I can't see that selling more than 100 units.

Depends where do you stay, but you should have a look at Netbiz, they shipped to world wide. They do carry a wide range of Apacs arsenal

I've bought about 8 racquets off of ebay from the seller 925badmintonace. Shipping to Canada is surprisingly fast (usually under two weeks). Seller has great coomunication, just make sure to take into account the time difference. I'd order many more racquets from this seller if I needed to. The only thing I don't know about this seller is his stringing quality as I have him just send me strings and then I string myself.

I have also ordered one racquet from the ebay user sports-netbizstore. Also no issues with this seller (not quite as fast shipping as from 925badmintonace).

Hello, I'm new to BC. I've never tried Apacs before.

I'm looking for a Apacs racket having similar feelings with my Victor BS LYD, 4u with Yonex Towel Grip. Basically, it's a very fast, accurate, a little bit heavy and stiff. Definitely a huge fan here but in fact it's an expensive rackets among the product line and I'd like to try something new.

The Z Zigglers catches my attention, as well as its price. Any thoughts on that? I'm living in Exeter - UK

I've paid additional money to have Yonex BG65s on racquets I've ordered from those guys, and I can tell you the stringing is good. Never had issues, except with the Apacs brand strings, as they broke easier than the Yonex do. Unless you specify a certain tension, they string most of their racquets at 23lbs. For a player such as myself (I'd say intermediate-been playing a long time, but just in club settings), it's perfectly fine.

Hey Timmy, welcome to BC :)
If you're looking for fast & heavy head perhaps you can go try out AVP. It's a light & heavy head racket.
Z Ziggler are a clone of Yonex ZF2 but it's less stiffer & head heavy than yonex. I just placed an order for 1 myself hopefully I can try it out soon and tell you how it is.

    Hello Cloudx,

I'm looking for your comments on it.

FYI, after a little bit research, I found there are some variety of the Z Ziggler series with slightly different specs. You may have Z Ziggler 515/525/535/565 and the new white+black+yellow verision. I'm not sure about their product strategies

Which one did you choose? I found the white+black+yellow versions are kinda sexy  Apacs' definitely got some talent product designers.

I personally am interested in the Ziggler 535. It's the lightest of the Ziggler line, but I like that. Probably will be ordering one soon...

The Finapi 88 plays great for doubles. As a person who likes to play the front occasionally, the even balanced frame + med flex makes shots easy! When it comes to smashing... I'd rather not talk about it ;)

    My first Apacs racket

Bought a slightly used Apacs Saber Light racket from a friend yesterday. First of all, I love the PU Super grip - it feels just right. The racket itself is lightweight and allowed me to defend well and generate decent smash power. Now I understand why people recommend Apacs instead of expensive Yonex rackets. :)
