U have a point I totally agree with u LCW should take a break I hope he does not pick up an injury that would really be disasterous
It's 180 miles. Take three hours by car, not bad. Eagle can also car-pool with others, saving energy for later You have other chances which some of us can only dream of
but I have no chance this time...the trade show starts at April 14 and meetings until April 19... at least...
How about Mutiara? How about Mutiara Hotel, Jessica? Is it still in walking distance from the stadium? Seem close enough if we look on the map. Thank you before
Just found out that the reason why Zhou Mi withdrew as she could not represent Hongkong to Olympic naymore so Hong Kong will be represented by Wang Cehn and Yip Pui Yin.
Hmm..The Mutiara Hotel is actually quite far from the stadium. If you want to walk to the stadium from Mutiara Hotel,it will be vey tiring..So you can go by taxi or car..
Zhou Mi could not be representing Hong Kong? . Why couldn't Zhou Mi be representing Hong Kong?... I thought she could do so, after a 2 years' stay in Hong Kong. .
Look at my intro thread again, my friend, I'm not from KL. Flying for an eagle, no sweat wan, just flap-flap go....It's not the distance... still need a couple hundred $$$ for hotel stay, that's out of budget. Please check again next week, when the tv schedule is out. RTM will be showing I think, they do every year, RTM you can watch online. YES, it was reported in every major newspaper & the M& Q report, Kido/Setiawan(Kido's dad just passed away) & Fu/Cai not going.
Sorry not doing well with Malaysia geography. You are in Bukit Baru, Melaka state, which is even closer to Johore. I hope I got it right this time
JB is at the southernmost tip of the Malaysian peninsula with Singapore just a causeway (bridge) away to the south. If I travel from Singapore towards the northern part of Malaysia, I will arrive at (in order of distance nearer Singapore): Johor (Johor Bahru) Melaka (Malacca), Negeri Sembilan (Seremban) Selangor (Kuala Lumpur) Perak (Ipoh) Penang (George Town) Kedah (Alor Setar) Perlis (Kangar) Perak, Perlis and Kedah share a common border with southern Thailand. As for badminton, the popular Malaysian venues are JB, KL and Alor Setar. The eastern part of the peninsula consists of the bigger states of Pahang (Kuantan & Cameron Highlands), Terengganu (Kuala Terengganu) and Kelantan (Kota Bahru) I think abedeng hails from Kelantan and azabaz_ipoh is from Ipoh.
except abedeng hails from kelantan but lives in kuala lumpur now whereas i'm from ipoh and lives in ipoh too
