Lin Dan amazes me. I thought he's still a bit rusty, more erratic than usual and Sho Sasaki is in fantastic form, but he actually turns the match around in splendid fashion. Indeed, a Lin Dan who is not at his best is still damn hard to beat.

u fought back through everything sho
we're gonna remember it fo' sho'
it was a great battle to watch betwen foes
and sometimes in badminton, that's how it goes
you two, thanks for the all-round show
from the first faltering of lin to his shirt-throw
the japanese was brilliant but eventhough
he tried his best he got beaten to a dough
christmas came early for lin, ho ho ho!
kept smashing tho' sho was like no no no
this was the result, and behold and lo
too tired, sho needs a truck that can tow!
woah woah bro, you must be full of woe
but we still wanna say xoxo

Credit to Sho Sasaki, no wonder he could beat Son Wan Ho. Come to think of it, Xue Song actually accounted himself well pushing Sho hard before losing narrowly in G3, 21-19.

Sung JH off to a good start, leading comfortably.
