Can I please if anybody actually administrates this site, there are two reasons i ask:
We have never received a response to the contact forms we have emailed in?
There are a number of almost abusive/trouble making members who's sole purpose seems to be wrecking threads.

How is this dealt with, why is not being addressed?

    Thanks
    BRR

Are you talking about yourself ?
If that's the case I totally agree we should address the issue.
(Seriously your contributions have been a joke so far, and now your posting this in the "Badminton rackets" section... I think you are the one out of place right now : you made bold statements without any kind of back up, you're asking stuff already answered a few posts earlier, you are aggressive towards respectable members, now you are posting this thread in the wrong section...)

I would suggest you look back at that thread and see how and where the aggression started, I was simply defending my position and have since agreed to leave that thread.

I don't really have the time right now, but I might check again later (but IMO you just created that situation).

Just curious, what do you think about that statement : my research led me to the conclusion that this forum is not appropriate for you, there are forums out there that will suit you more.

My sentence was pretty stupid right ? How could I know what you need, want or like ?

It is almost the same comment you made about LCW racket's choice. Then when people asked you to explain and back up your claim, you said you tested a lot of rackets and that it will cost some money to get the results of your research.
After that, no wonder people didn't take you seriously.

Here on Badminton Central, you have a lot of badminton enthousiasts. Some have incredible knowledge, they have been playing, testing gear, and sharing their knowledge since so long. And then you come here, say stupid things, and expect people will believe you and respect your words. That's pretty delusional

You want to know what has caused the problem in the other thread (besides that stupid LCW-racket-thing...)? You claim to be some sort of "Masters of the Badminton Rackets Universe" and yet still instead of providing any sort of new information, you started asking a lot of pretty much noob questions. And probably worst of all, these were all questions you could have found an answer just by looking through 3-4 pages in the thread.

I don't know if this is truely the first time in your online life that you are actively participating in a forum like this, but let me tell you that this is a big nono on every single one of them I know. And users doing it like this have to accept to be critisized by others. The fact that you're representing a fee-based website dealing with exactly this kind of information didn't help your credibility either.

I've seen that you have given some valuable input in some other rackets and recommendations threads. If you start using the knowledge from your huge database and help other users with it, you will quickly see that this will be appreciated. And in fact nobody will care about if you attract some new customers for your site along the way. As almost always in life, it's a lot about give and take.

    Sums things up fairly succinctly.

Disparaging people's statements without backing up remarks is pretty unhelpful.

Directing forum members to a commercial site without stating so beforehand also is poor etiquette.

This is a very helpful statement. Best all of us get back to badminton. :)
