I have just moved to Feltham recently. I am currently looking for local badminton clubs that I can join. I am playing at intermediate-competitively level. Any ideas?
Try the Hounslow Badminton Centre a.k.a Hounslow Dome. 237 North Hyde Lane Southall Middlesex UB2 5TZ It's a purpose built badminton facility where the Middlesex county team is based/train. Plenty of clubs play there at varying standards. Our club (GSK) plays on Thur evening's on the far 2 courts. Air canada play on the near courts. Each night has some club playing & most have a guest policy &/or are looking for new members. Hope that helps.
Hi, I've just moved to the West Drayton area and have started a Sunday 11am - 1pm badminton session with some friends at Spelthorne Leisure Centre. We are looking to create a new club through inviting more people along, we generally play doubles and we have 5 - 6 regular players. Let me know if you would like to join us Hannah
This probably overdue, but just in case if someone still looking to play around this area. There is a club 'David Lloyd' in Hampton. (was Amida) We play competition as well as club nights. If anyone is interested, please come and join us. We play every Wednesday 18:30 to 20:30 sometimes later, and Sunday 16:30 to 19:30. Level varies from beginner, intermediate to expert. Hello, This is a reply to Tony's post. I am also looking for somewhere to play in the feltham area and know where the David Lloyd sports centre so would be interested in coming down and trying it out. Would i be able to just turn up and play and do you need to be a member of david llyod? Joseph

Hi Joseph, You will have to be a member to play, however you might be able to negotiate with the reception that you would like to try out the badminton facilities before deciding to join. I suggest coming on Wednesdays because more members turn up. But let me know when you are coming so I can expect you or inform the coach that you are coming. Tony

The Hounslow dome is a permanent badminton facility so there's always something going on every night. Our club is still running on Thursday nights and there are drop in sessions on other nights too. Drop us a PM if your interested in popping by.

Hello, I know this is an incredibly old thread but I surfed in via Google so might as well give it a go. My eight year old daughter has expressed an interest in playing badminton so I’m looking for facilities in the local area (Feltham/Hounslow/Sunbury/Twickenham/Whitton). If anyone here can suggest somewhere that might provide such facilities then I’d love to hear about it. Please rely and let me know. Thanks in advance Jamie
Look for Millie Law. I think she runs a junior club in The Hounslow Dome. You might be able to find her details in Badminton of England website for coaches. The Dome is the centre of Middlesex Badminton. You can hire courts there or join other adult clubs.
